When you believe that anything is possible, you put in motion the energy to create and do anything!

Everything that we do, think, or say stems from a belief. When we consciously evaluate, modify and adapt our beliefs we can promote spiritual growth in our lives. It’s the beliefs that we hang on to for a physical lifetime that can hinder growth as we expand with age. It’s okay to adapt and change our beliefs along the way.
Suppose you are travelling across country in an automobile. You are armed with a paper map that was created decades earlier. As you travel along a gravel road, you look over to see a nicely paved freeway laid out in the same direction as the road you for which you are driving. You look at your map, but the freeway is not on the map, for it must have been built after the map was published. What do you do?
A childhood belief that may have been ingrained in you from your ancestors, may be like the old map. At times, we need to adjust and adapt our beliefs to adapt with the changes in the environment, with the changes in one’s self and the changes in the world at large. At times, we need to adjust our beliefs, much how science adapts to the current level of measuring devices.
When we refuse to adapt and to modify our beliefs, our thinking and our actions are also stifled. We might find that we are travelling in completely the wrong direction in order to get to our desired destination! The refusal to change a belief is based in ego, thinking that you are admitting that you were wrong. However, everything is in perfect order.
Similar to as we climb a mountain the view of the landscape changes, and we get a better perception of the world around us, as we live and mature we might have a better view of life. Let go of the need to stick with something that you feel you’ve “outgrown.” Have the courage to explore and to alter your very deep-rooted beliefs – even if that goes against the beliefs ingrained in you by others.

When we have the courage to build our beliefs from within, we can then grow to the highest levels. With growth comes unlimited potential. Let yourself experience that potential!
