“Okay, we are almost finished. Let’s just sweep up our mess and pick up the trash and we’ll be done.”
The men worked to clean up after themselves. They had built a shed for a homeowner, and always made sure that they left the area around the newly constructed shed in better shape than it was when they left. One of the workers pulled a stray weed growing in the rocks near the shed.
The homeowner came out to inspect the work. “That looks wonderful.”
“We do our best” replied the supervisor.

We do our best. That is the theme for today, “Do your best.” How many times do we give things our not-so-best effort? Do you bring your “best” with you to every aspect of your life, or do you sometimes skate by with a lessor effort?
The reason it is important to always bring the “best” that you have to offer is because if you only bring it some of the time, you condition yourself to provide a lessor effort. It is important to “train yourself” to always bring your best effort.
Life is difficult enough as it is, but not bringing our best efforts to our jobs, our relationships, our passions, etc., only compounds the difficulties. We can make our lives so much easier, by bringing the best effort that we have to offer, which allows for our inner truth to shine.
When you uncover the “ness” of who you are, that opens up yourself to the world. When you see yourself in a light that shines upon your truth you can easily bring the best that you have to offer, for the “best” is all that you can offer. Cutting corners, or putting in a lessor effort is not possible when you act from your inner truth.
Find the “ness” of who you are. That is the essence of who you are and what you represent. When you find that “wholeness” of yourself, you begin to see it spill out in all areas of your life. That means you find yourself always bringing the best that you have to offer the world. As a result, you will find the universe aligns with you by being “in phase” with your energy, making your life run its almost magical “course.”
Bring the best that you have to offer to this day. Find how much easier things seem to be. Bringing your “best” may mean finishing the “little things” in your tasks so they are complete, rather than “pushing” them along to be finished later. Bring your “best” and let your friends, co-workers and customers see your capabilities, while exposing your abilities.

Finish the tasks that you set before yourself, and bring the best effort of yourself to each and every task. When you “bring your best” to this lifetime, you will find that you will be in alignment with the universal flow of energy, and your life will reflect that energy.
