Caught Up in Change

Posted - May• 27•16

As they say, “change is the only constant in life.”  Some changes are much more impactful in our lives than others.  The question is how are you doing with the changes going on in your life?

Yes, we can hope for consistency, and the “normalcy” of our lives, but we will be greatly disappointed.  Everything, keeps moving whether we want it to or not.  Life is constantly in motion as the moments continue to tick by.

The key is to understand and embrace the changes, rather than trying to hold them back.  Much like a river will find a way downstream, the energy of change will go around, above, and below you if necessary to continue onward.

When we find ourselves “caught up in change,” that may be a bit overwhelming, we need to slow ourselves down and let the change flow through us.  That means we can observe the change, without feeding our emotions.  We can live the change, without changing our emotions.  We simply allow, observe, and embrace any and all changes that come our way.

When we can learn to love the changes in our lives, we eliminate the fears that go along with change.  We neutralize the fearful part of change, which has always been unfounded in the first place, because we are no longer afraid of change.  Change is your friend, if you let it be in your life.

When life changes at a pace that seems overwhelming, you can slow yourself down and let the change pass through you, without emotion.  When we figure out how to embrace change, and observe it, we are then able to open up to any and all changes that come our way!
