When a challenge arises, it is up to you to decide how you will deal with it. You can be in denial, disregard the challenge, be passive and let the challenge overwhelm your life, or aggressively see your way through the challenge.
Challenges in life are a natural occurrence that everyone goes through. Some “challenges” last longer than others. Other challenges may be life-lasting, where the transitional period is the biggest struggle. Eventually, you adapt your life to whatever the life-long challenge is, and you can figure out how to live a happy, fulfilling life, or you may concede to the challenge presented to you.
Sometimes in life, we think we are being faced with a challenge, when a real “challenge” hits us in the face. At that point, we realize we spent much of our life worrying about really nothing of significance while longing for those years to reappear. Be careful not to let these moments in your life be consumed with any of the so-called “challenges” that you think you are facing.
Sometimes, the “challenge” has not even materialized yet, and people obsessively spend their moments worrying about the future in the event the “challenge” enters their life. We might remind you that a lifetime consists of a series of “moments.” Eventually, you will live your last “moment” in this physical body. The question is which “moment” will that be, and how are you living the moment that lies before you.
We can live with worry about the future and lament our behaviors in the past, or we can set those thoughts aside and live this very moment, right now. Let go of the need to control the future, and be a twig floating down the river of universal energy. Trust that where you end up, is right where you need to be at this moment in your life.
Use your best judgment to guide your “twig” as it floats down the river of universal energy, but then “let go” of the outcome. If you do not end up where you think you need to be, you can trust that you are exactly where you need to be at this moment. Live this moment, and let go of the worry about the future. Who knows, the big “challenge” that you think you might encounter may be in a different “fork” in the energy river.

Challenges can provide excitement in our lives. However, worry over the future and regret over the past only steals the current moment from your life. Live each moment to the fullest, starting with this very moment right now!
