Ego Glasses

Posted - Nov• 02•15

Wake up and see the world!  Open your eyes to the greatness around you.  Appreciate those in your life for who they are, and let them be their own greatness!

Take off the glasses that are distorting your reality, with ego.  Understand that everyone and everything is perfect just the way it is.  Find that perfection by removing all judgment.  Everyone is living their life with their own struggles and celebrations.  Have empathy and understanding, especially when their path seems to intersect yours.

The beauty of the world and the greatness of the universe is everywhere.  However, when the “ego glasses” are in the way, we seldom see that beauty and perfection.  The ego is what leads to judgmental thoughts.  The ego leads to the need to be better than others.   Let go of that filter of your reality, and see the truth in your reality.   The truth, that everyone has their own truth, and yours may differ.   The understanding that everyone is perfect and should follow their own path, rather than being persuaded to follow yours.

We all enter the physical world naked and alone.  We quickly are wrapped in a blanket and given to our mother who embraces their new child.  We leave this plane alone – just the way we entered.  It is not sad, nor should we be afraid.  It is a journey of a single lifetime that is like a ride on a roller coaster in the eternal timeline.  Embrace this lifetime and see the higher purpose for it.

Open your eyes and see the perfection of the world.  Leave the judgmental glasses off, and see things with a new understanding.  Everyone is perfection, it’s the perception of others that makes us think we are the only perfect being!
