Embrace the Line

Posted - Sep• 21•15

“I’m back.”

“How was it?”

“It was different and very enlightening.”

Sometimes in life, we need to “take a break” to figure out what it is we really want out of our lives.   We might need to take the time for “twenty-four hours” of solitude, to “hear ourselves.”  Life can go pretty fast, but we can and should take the time to “slow it down.”

“What is it like to embrace the back of the line?”

“I don’t know, let’s try it.”

When we embrace the things that we spend a lifetime avoiding, we can “stretch” ourselves, to experience new things.   We spend most of our lives, trying to be “first.”  We cause stress and anxiety to avoid being “last.”   However, you just might find that “being last” is exactly where you want and should be.

Life is not about getting in front of others, nor is it about stepping on others to reach the top.  No, life is about the allowance and acceptance of everyone and everything!  Experience the back of the line with open arms.  Let go of the need to “get yours” and allow the universe to guide you to exactly where you need to be at this moment in your life.

Let go of the need to achieve and accomplish, and open up to the capability to allow and accept!  When we slow down our lives, we realize that we  were chasing our tails!   Like the hamster on the wheel, watching it spin faster and faster, but getting no where new – you might just be running on a wheel of your own!

Today is a great day to experience the back of the line.   You’ll know when you have that opportunity.  Let go of the need to be first and see what it is like.   You might just find that it’s exactly where you enjoy being!
