Embrace Your Emotions

Posted - Jan• 27•15

Embrace, and appreciate all emotions, but let them flow through you unobstructed.   That means everything that happens is in perfect order, and it is up to you to let it flow through you.   Observe the emotions, embrace them, and let them go.

When we figure out that it’s okay to be angry,  it’s okay to be frustrated, it’s okay to be me, we begin to accept ourselves.   The key is to not “live” in those emotions.  Understand that who you are is perfect just the way that you are!  When you experience an emotion that is negative in general, it’s okay.   Just let it pass through you.

We have used the analogy in the past of picturing yourself floating out in space.  There are arrows that are coming towards you.  One might be labeled “anger.”  Another might be labeled “frustration.”  As the arrow slowly approaches, you can simply give it a gentle tap to change its direction and slowly pass you by.  Eventually, you will see that there are no arrows!  It is all a figment of your reality.

When we think about how our reality differs from that of everyone else, we might begin to understand why people experience such a differing set of emotions, even while observing or going through the same thing.  Since we are a product of our experiences, we all have different experiences, so it is only natural that we all have different realities.

The key is to understand that you can change your reality.  You can experience what was once a negative emotion as a positive one.   The choice is yours.  Just remember to observe your world without always being an “actor” in it.  Let go of the need to control, and let it be.  When you begin to believe that everything and everyone is perfect just the way they are, you can be free!

Emotions are always at play in our physical bodies.  Tap into your non-physical inner self and experience pure love.  With love comes only happiness and joy – even in what some would call during the “worst of times.”
