What inspires you? What energizes you so much that you can’t wait to get to it? What is your passion?
These are the questions that you need to ask of yourself – especially, if the answers are something you need to think about. Your inspiration in life, is what provides the energy. Your passion is your life’s pursuit. When you touch on these areas, your life is energized.
When was the last time you thought about what inspires you? Do you think about your life’s passion? Maybe it’s not a life’s passion, but a “daily passion?” The inspirations and passions of your life are made up of smaller, “daily inspirations and passions.” When we begin to see the “little” inspirations and passions in our lives, we can start to see the larger view.
Right now, what could you do that would inspire and energize yourself? Could it be baking a cake, painting a picture, or cleaning out that closet you’ve been wanting to get to? Whatever it is, no matter how ludicrous it seems, go for it! When we find the little things that provide energy to ourselves, we can use that energy to feed other things as well. It starts small, and then “snow balls” down the hill of life.
When you have troubles getting going in your day, find something that gives you an “energetic boost” when you think about it. Now if that is not something you can spend your entire day doing, limit yourself to say fifteen minutes. That is enough time to “energize yourself” so that you can have the energy to do the other necessary things.

Giving yourself little “energy treats” throughout the day can be a way to tap into the larger “energy well” that resides within each of us. Find the things that inspire you, which may be an indication of where your passion lies!
