“Do you have fears?”
“Yes, everyone has fears. The key is to not let your fears immobilize you, but to face them square on and grow from them.”
Ω
When we confront our fears by gathering all of the information we need, and the skills necessary to address the issues at hand, we can use our “fears” for growth opportunities. It’s when fear immobilizes us that we are giving in and giving up!
When something concerns you, it is often times related to a fear of an unknown future. We are wanting to hang onto the things, events and people that we have in our lives, and can be fearful of future changes in these areas. It’s okay to have concerns, so long as they are short-lived and do not affect this current moment.
When we have fear of a future loss, we can use that energy for gratitude for what we have at this moment in our lives. Rather than fearing the unknown, we need to learn how to be grateful for this moment.
When is the last time you outwardly expressed gratitude to those that are important to you, for being in your life? That is an expression of love and appreciation. However, many times, we show expressions of lack and taking others for granted. Today is the day to start changing all of this.
Imagine you are at the end of your life and you are evaluating last week. Did you live that week to its fullest, or did you live in fear of the unknown? Today is the beginning of a new week, make it a week that you can look back on with no regret. Make it a week of opportunity for growth, and an appreciation for your “world” as it stands right now – not the way you think you would like it to be!

Life is ever-changing, and our desire for it to stay the way it is goes against the laws of change. Welcome the change and see it for what it is and the opportunity that it presents – rather than seeing it as loss and fear!
