Think about what is really important to you. Now ask yourself if you are giving that which is most important to you, your highest priority. Even though we know the things that are most important in our lives, we often do not give them most of our attention. Often times, the other less important aspects of our lives, gets the most attention.
When you think about what is important in your life, you most often will list some people who you love. You might also list some things that you like to do, that give you joy. The list need not be analyzed and evaluated at this time, but rather you should review it to see if you are giving these items the time and attention that you would like.
Many times we live our lives by fire. Wherever the fire is, so too goes our time and energy. Yes, when something is an emergency we need to give it the attention that it needs. However, how much time do you spend in anticipation of a fire that never occurs? Often times it is the worry of something that might happen that steals this moment, thus turning your attention away from your priorities and moving it towards your fears.
Fear is the “trump card” of life. When we have fear it can take any joyous moment and instantly switch it to one of anxiety. When we worry about the future, it is fear at the root. Life without fear, is a life that is lived in the moment. Yes, something that might challenge you “could” happen someday, but right now will never come again. Enjoy this moment and let yourself deal with the future if necessary. Most likely, you will find that most if not all of the things that have caused worry was unnecessary in the first place!
When you find yourself in a place of fear, ask yourself if you would like to live a life of fear? Make a conscious decision right now. I am going to continue living with spurts of fear, or I am going to live with trust and in this moment.

Fear of the unknown can stifle even the most energetic person. When you feel the fear creeping into your thoughts, tell it to “go away” and get back to this moment!
