The state of our emotions is reflected from our physical bodies. What we think about, we represent somewhere in our bodies.
That means that when we think thoughts that are negative in nature, we project that negativity to areas of our own bodies. However, when we feel and enjoy a positive emotional state with such things as happiness, excitement and enthusiasm, we project healing to our bodies. As the saying goes, “you are what you eat,” can be extended to “you are what you think!”
Think back to a time when you were having happy, loving thoughts. The energy of those thoughts consumed your body to provide a state of health and energy. Everyday, you need to place yourself in that “happy space” so that you can bring your body back to a sense of health. Yes, there will be times throughout your day, when you may feel stress, and anxiety. However, when we take the time to “reset” those negative emotions lodged in the body, we can neutralize them.
Over enough time and with practice, you can overcome the negative results with positive ones. That means, the emotions that you are sending to your body will be more positive than negative. When that happens, your body will be in a state of healing rather than in the creation of illness.
Take the time each day, starting with today, to place yourself in a “positive emotional state.” Think of a fond memory. Look at a lifelong beacon. Place yourself in an environment, mentally, where you would like to be. Relax and clear your mind of the daily chatter. Relax your breathing. Open up to the love and energy around you. Feel that love and energy. Let it consume your mind and your body.
