“It’s okay, I’ll help you.”
“I know, it just seems that nothing goes my way.”
“That may be what it seems, but if that’s what you believe, that is all you will see. Maybe you should change your belief to, ‘everything goes my way’ and see what happens.”
“Mom, that’s a good idea. I’ll try that from now on. I already feel a little better.”

When we have a belief that our life is terrible, or that nothing seems to go “right” we attract that very belief into our lives. The belief is then strengthened and becomes more intense with energy, which intensifies the attraction to you. What we need to do is to let go of all limiting and negative beliefs and replace those with empowering beliefs.
Think about what you are feeling at this very moment. Close your eyes and give yourself a moment to reflect on how you feel now, and what you’ve been feeling for the past few days, and then come back to continue reading.
Did you find that your current moment and past few days were positive in nature? Are you feeling happiness, or are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you feeling like your life is stuck? Are you feeling a sense of helplessness? Be honest with yourself, and reflect on where you are and have been for this period in your life. The “period” may be a day, a week, or a decade.
Now, think about another time in your life when you felt similar emotions, but managed to “get through it” and get back to happiness. If that is too difficult, take the time to think about the last time you felt happiness and joy.
Focus on those emotions. Did you still have “things” going on in your life that were negative in nature, but you somehow were able to set that aside and experience happiness? We are here to tell you that you will ALWAYS have reason to be unhappy. However, you will ALWAYS also have reason to be happy!
If you let those negative based emotions overwhelm your life, and your moments, you will let the happiness that is also available to you, pass you by. Do you know people who seem to have continual disappointment and negative emotions? Do you see from the outside reasons why they might experience happiness, but they cannot see it? Are they missing their lives? Are they missing the lives of their loved ones? Are YOU missing your life? Are YOU missing the lives of your loved ones?
Maybe its time to re-engage yourself in THIS life! Maybe it’s time to change those beliefs about how bad your situation is, to one of gratitude for everything that is so-called good in your life. Look around and you will find thousands of people who would trade their situation for yours. Find the good in whatever situation you have going on in your life, and grow and learn from it. Make it great. Do not wish that things were how they once were. You might look back on this very moment some day and wish that you could get back to it!
