Get Into the Flow

Posted - Feb• 10•14

Stepping into the universal flow of energy is similar to stepping into a river with a swift current.  When you “get into the flow” of universal energy, you are carried away in the direction of the energy flow.   The energy takes you effortlessly where you need to go.

You can help guide yourself down this river of energy, trying to make decisions as to which fork in the river to take, or whether or not to move to a calm pool of energy.   However, the general flow of the river of energy is going in a direction that you cannot control.

Like a river of flowing water, you can attempt to “paddle upstream” but that can consume much energy and provide futile results.   When you let the river “carry you” and you use your paddle as a rudder, you can travel great distances, with seemingly little effort.

When you step into the river of universal energy, you can literally feel the energy of the universe carrying you along.  When you begin to pay attention to that energy, you begin to understand the messages that the universe is sending you, which can help in your decision-making.  When you understand the direction the river is flowing, you can plot a course “down stream” rather than attempting to go against the strong current.

That is not to say that the universal river of energy will not change direction and start to move upstream.  It can move in any direction which can change at any time.   The key is to recognize the “flow of energy” and to go “with it” rather than “against it.”  Attempting to go against this flow of energy can produce much stress, hardship and difficulty.

Do you ever notice how some people seem to turn everything they touch into gold?  No matter what they do, they always seem to find success.  That is because those people are “tuned into” the universal flow of energy and simply jump in, and let it carry them to where they need to go.  They understand the flow of things, and go “with it” rather than “against it.”

When things are “in flow” it seems that your life is almost effortless.  The hardships and difficulties disappear and are replaced with abundance and joy.  The flow of energy carries you throughout your life in directions that you are open to.  When someone is fixated on a destination and more importantly a specific route to that destination, they often find themselves going “against the flow.”

When you are “open” to anything and everyone, you have unlimited potential and you can let the current of energy carry you to your destination.  There may be “side streams” that take you into an unknown area, but when you welcome those “side trips” you are letting the current carry you into areas sometimes of adventure.

Doing  the same thing over and over again, can sometimes become mundane.  It is the “adventures” in life that spice things up.  Sometimes those, “adventures” are seemingly “bad” and we would rather have the mundane and familiar.

Look around today, and see if you can “feel” the universal flow of energy.  Are you “in flow” with your career, schooling, hobbies, relationships, and life in general?  Do you feel yourself easily being carried without little effort to abundance and joy in all facets of your life?  Are you abundant in relationships, health, and “wealth?”  If not, where is the flow of energy?

Look around, and “jump into” the universal river of energy.  It may require hard work, risk taking, and effort put forth with integrity to even get to the river.  Once there, though, your hard work and energy put forth will be worth the effort.

Jump into the universal river of energy and let it carry you to your beacons.  The hard part is finding that river in the first place and understanding how to “let go” and how to let it carry you along your journey of this lifetime.
