Granite Dust

“It’ll be okay, just be yourself.”

“What if that isn’t good enough?”

“Then it wasn’t meant to be.”

Welcome to this lifetime!   Each moment in this lifetime can be a challenge, a passion, or a state of happiness.  When we realize that we are able to “be ourselves” we can release ourselves of the unnecessary strain we have artificially placed upon us.

Think of the last time you were worried about how you look, how you act, or what to say?  For some, they may not have a memory of that.  For others, it could be a daily occurrence.   Usually, these feelings of lack can be traced back to how you feel about yourself.  When you feel strong and loved, that is how you will behave.  Conversely, when you feel weak and alone, that too, is how you will behave.

There is no good or bad.  Everything is part of this life’s journey.  However, if you would like to move to a place of strength and love, we suggest you begin by looking at how you perceive yourself.   When you look in the mirror and you see an aging face, a receding hairline and a body that is beginning to show its wear, you are failing to see your inner-person.

It is not the “outside” that matters so much as the “inside.”   Yes, it is important to keep a healthy body for you to live in, but it is not necessary for your self-esteem.  We are not our bodies, they are only temporary housing for our spirit!  The key is to let people get to know that spirit!

Living in a world of “photo shopped” models and homes with the latest rock counter tops, we sometimes lose focus of our spirits.  After all, all of the physical things in this world will someday become nothing but dust, but your spirit will live for an eternity!
