Is it time for you to begin your life? Have you been living this life or “waiting” to begin living until some future event? Maybe the event is, “when the kids move out,” or “when I retire.” However, we all know deep inside that these “events” are not ones for which we should wait.
When we are “waiting until” something happens before we begin living, we are never going to begin living our lives. We will always find a reason to “wait.” For those that have entered the sunset years of their lives, they may feel that it is now “too late” to live their lives. For they may fear that they have “missed it.”
For the young people, there is always an excuse for why we many not be doing something. “I need to do well at work, before I can spend more time with my family.” There are many reasons why we think we need to put on hold our happiness and joy. The question is whether or not you will always “put off” having happiness and joy, while the seconds on the clock keep “ticking by.”
With each moment that passes in this lifetime, it is generally replaced with another moment. Some day, your “final moment” will pass and you will return “home.” The question is whether or not you treat each “moment” with the gratitude for which it deserves. No matter your current situation, you might express gratitude for this very moment. A moment that many others would love to have.

Do not squander the moments of your life, while you wait for “something” to happen. Live this moment, and each moment thereafter, for you may someday look back and realize that you have always been right where you should be.

No truer words were ever spoken. How fortunate are those who incorporate the life experiences they dream of with those they are living with each day. Soon enough it may be too late.
