Growth Opportunities

Posted - Mar• 16•15

Springtime is a reminder of “growth.”   As we traverse this life’s journey, we are always looking for areas of opportunity to allow for our growth.  Whether you realize it or not, your non-physical self came to this lifetime to grow.

When you see the flowers beginning to bloom, and the trees come back to life, you can use that as a reminder to work on your own growth.  The “down turns” in life can create a great opportunity for you to learn what you need to learn and to move forward.  Much like springtime in nature, we can have a springtime in our lives.

Take the time to do a “growth inventory” of your current situation at this moment in your life.  What are the relationships that are providing a “growth opportunity?”   No matter what you might think, or for that matter what others in the relationship might think, there is always something for you to learn.  Do not worry about the lessons of others, for that is not of your concern.  What you need to look for is you own opportunities for growth.

Life will continue onward, much as the seasons in nature continue to transition.  You must accept whatever “season” you are in, knowing that you can help transition yourself to a more desirable season, with a shift in your own thinking.  When we begin to look at situations as “opportunities” we can create a shift that carries us into a state of eternal “springtime.”  However, the opposite is also true.  Your mindset can keep you in the season of “winter.”

Let yourself open up to the growth opportunities that lie before you.  Do not judge, criticize, or lament these opportunities.  Accept them, learn from them, and move forward into a state of eternal springtime!
