I am in the slow down phase of my life, not by my choice! One must smell the flowers each day!!
I never ever considered that my personal health problems would cut me down. In 2013, I had L2-S1 fused. Back pain relieved and paresthesia down both legs went away. The surgery was in Aug. of 2013. In Feb. 2014, my L1 spontaneously collapsed. I had repeat surgery in May, T8-L5. I also have Parkinson's Disease. In Sept. 2014, I began to experience severe spazms in my back, at the level of my liver down to my naval. If I increased my sinemet to 18 tabs/day the spazms would go away and I could sleep normally. I had DBS (deep brain stimulation) surgery in Feb. 2015. DBS allowed me to cut my sinemit down to 4 tabs/d. July 2016, low back pain recurred. Subsequently, this is secondary degerative changes in my spine. I have normal coronary arteries, A1C's in the mid 6 region on therapy(metformin&victoza), nothing that should cause me any significant problem.
