Inspired Forgiveness

Posted - Aug• 09•16

When we forgive another, we release the energy that is holding us back.  Forgiveness is not about giving in, but rather about letting go.

Life is way too short to let another have ahold of even a single moment.  When we forgive, we allow the energy that has a hold of us, to be released back to the person we are forgiving.  We are letting go and moving forward.  Forgiveness also allows the other person to move onward as well.

There are times when it is difficult to forgive another whom you feel has harmed you.  When you forgive, you are not saying that it is okay for them to continue their behaviors.   No, you are saying that you are releasing that old energy and moving on with your life.  You are saying that what has happened is over and it’s time to let go of that energy.

Looking to the future can be inspirational or discouraging, depending on your point of view.   Looking to the moment that you now hold in your hand can also be discouraging or encouraging – the choice is yours.  Right now, you have  a choice on how you will spend this moment.  A moment that many other people would gladly trade you places to have.  A moment that no amount of money can purchase.  Now, we ask you, “how are you going to spend it, knowing that someday you may wish to have it back?”

Today is a great day to forgive another to release the energies that are holding you back.   Today is a great day to consciously make decisions on how you will spend your moments.  The moments get “spent” whether you use them or not.

Forgiveness allows for the release of energy that is wrapped around yourself, while weighting you down.  Let go of that energy and look up to the inspirational energy that is all around you!
