“Sometimes up-side-down is right-side-up.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means that sometimes you need to do things differently to get a different perspective.”
Ω
Do you ever get tired of the “same ole” thing? Sometimes, we need to brush our teeth with our non-dominant hand, or eat something we’ve never tried in the past. Sometimes, we need to listen to the wild ideas of others. Today is the day.
When we can invert ourselves, to “stand on our head” we see the world behind us in a different way. It takes that inversion to reset our beliefs and our mindsets to see the world differently. Remember, “reality” is not what’s “real” but rather how you interpret what’s “real.”
Today is a good day to think differently. Today is a good day to do things differently. Today is the day to find the shift that is waiting to be seen and felt by you, as a gift from your inner-self! Make that shift by “inverting” your world!
When we “invert our world” we are in a state of realization that what we believe is what we see. We get to a point where we do not even “see” the things around us anymore. We “tune” them out! After reading this passage, close your eyes. Think about your surroundings, and then open them again before reading any further.
Okay, what is the color of the ceiling? What is the color of the wall behind you? What type and color is the floor? Yes, if you are in your house where you’ve lived for a long time, you will know these things. However, if you are in a coffee shop that you frequent, you may have never noticed. That is not to say that is a bad thing. What it demonstrates is how we tend to tune things that we feel either consciously or unconsciously are unimportant, out of our reality.
On your way to work or wherever you are now, do you remember which stop lights were red requiring you to wait? If walking, do you remember which streets you had to wait to cross? Once again, this illustrates how easily we can run on “auto-pilot” even while we are driving!
Today is the day to “stand on your head.” Find different ways to change your perspective of the world. Maybe you tilt your head far to one side, so things appear sideways. Maybe you close your eyes and try to recreate the scene around you. Maybe you just sit and listen with your heart, your eyes, and your ears. Look around and see what all you are missing!
InspiraCard
When we change something in ourselves, we can change the perception we have of our surroundings. When we change our perception, our so-called “reality” changes as well. This implies that we can create the “reality” that we care to see in our world!
