Invisible Worlds

“So tell me about the incident.  What happened?”

“Oh, we’re past it.  We’re not giving any energy to it.  Let’s talk about something else.”

What gets our attention, gets our energy, and what gets our energy, expands and is attracted to us.  The key is to focus your thoughts and as a result, your energy, on the things, people, and events you would like to attract into your life.  When we base our thoughts around fears and negative emotions, we attract more of that into our lives.

Think of an artist that is creating a painting.  Do you think the emotional state of the artist is reflected in the painting for which he is creating?  Do you think that an artist that is in a state of peace, joy, and happiness might create a painting that differs from one created when he is in a state of anger, bitterness and fear?

The world is your painting, and you are the artist.  Your state of mind creates your world and your “reality.”  The world that you see on the canvas of your reality differs from everyone else’s “world.”  The world that you see changes nearly every moment as your emotional state changes as well.

Think about the last time you were in a negative emotional state.  Maybe you were angry at your mate.  How did the world look to you then?  Did you see the beautiful autumn colors out your “window” or did you only see the crack in the paint, and the dust on the furniture?

Now think back to a time when you were overwhelmed with happiness.  If that is difficult for you, that might be an indication of something that needs to change in your life.  Now, look around in your mind’s eye.  Do you see beauty and happiness in the “world” around you?   When you are in a positive state of emotions, it is difficult to see anything but “positive” things in your reality.  Similarly, when you are in a negative emotional state, it is difficult to see any “positive” things in your reality.

The reality that you create comes from your mind, which originates with the thoughts in your mind at that moment.  To understand what is in your mind, you can look at your current emotional state.  If you feel happiness, and peace, you will see a positive based reality.  If you feel anger, bitterness, frustration and fear, you will only see the negative in your “world.”

Today is the day to monitor your emotional state so that you can change your thoughts whenever you creep into a negative emotional state.  That way, you will see all of the beauty that makes up your world, which is invisible to you unless you are in a state of happiness, peace and  joy!
