Learn to Fly

Posted - Aug• 29•14

“Mom, what if I had wings?”

“Well, I guess you would be able to fly then.”

“Can I fly without wings?”

“I don’t know, I suppose there might be a way.”

“When I get older, I’m going to figure out how to fly.”

“Will you teach me, too?”

“Of course I will.”

Birds have wings and can fly high above the ground.  They can float in the air almost effortlessly, letting the current take them where they need to go.  The can catch a current that most people cannot even see.  Once they are in it, they let go and drift with it.  The current carries them, without concern.

When we “catch an energy current” we can let it carry us effortlessly to wherever it is going.  We can trust that where we are going to end up, is where we need to be at this point in our lives.   Like the bird, we can use our “wings” to help guide us along our journey.   However, unless we care to exit the “energy current,” we can float along with little effort.

Sometimes, in your life you may feel like you need to “catch a current” so that things become a little easier.  When we are flying against the current, or are not within an “energy current” we find that things can be difficult.  We find that everything seems to be a struggle.  It seems that no matter what we do, we find difficulty in our lives.

To change that, you might need to learn to fly!  Let go of the weights on your feet that are preventing you from rising up to the next energy current.  What are the weights you might ask?   You might think that the “weights” are outside of you, but that is not usually the case.  Typically, the things “weighting you down” are found within.  When you can look at your life, your attitudes, and beliefs, with an honest assessment you might find you are weighting yourself down.

Do you have feelings of neglect buried deep inside of you?  Do you have fears that seem to overwhelm you?  When we can let go of these things, we will feel a lightness that allows for us to enter the flow of the energetic currents above us.  Look at yourself, and ask what you can do in your own behaviors and thought processes to help alleviate these weights.

In order to do this, we recommend sitting in quiet each and every day.  Clear your mind and connect with your inner self.  The inner self that contains the answers to all of your questions.  The inner self that can help you shed those “weighted boots” and learn to fly.  Find the person buried deep inside of you, and let her be your guide in this journey of life.

When we find that we are “in sync” with the universe, things tend to flow with little effort.  If your life is a struggle, take the time to learn to fly!
