Learning to Walk

Posted - Apr• 09•15

The beauty of a new day, is you get to try again!  Maybe you didn’t fare well yesterday in your daily interactions with your co-workers, or your mate.  Well, we are happy to say that today is a new day, and you can have another opportunity for growth.

When we continually try to improve our behavior each and every day, at some point, we will make the “shift” necessary to achieve growth.  Sometimes, we may feel like we are “failing,” but we are only learning the lessons that are to be learned.   When we feel like we are “regressing” into old behaviors or patterns, look at it as all part of the growth process.

Life is about learning from our experiences.  When we begin to adapt our behaviors to help the betterment of those around us, we are learning from our experiences.  When we look inside for making changes to our own life, rather than looking externally hoping someone else changes, we are growing.

Like a young child who looks inside for the will to learn to walk, we are learning to “walk” each and every day.   Once we figure out how to “walk” in a particular area, we get the opportunity to learn how to walk in other areas where we are still “crawling.”

Forgive yourself.  Pull yourself out of bed, and move forward with this gloriously, new day!  Let go of the events of yesterday and prior weeks, and begin with a fresh start.  Your mind can keep you living in the past, but your heart wants to live this day!
