Light Extinguishes Darkness

Posted - Dec• 09•14

When you are around others, do you bring them “up” or do you bring them “down?”  That is, do you raise the level of energy of those around you, bringing in “lightness” or do you most often lower the energy, bringing a sense of “darkness?”  The next question is, what type of person would you like to be?

When we make a conscious decision to raise the level of energy of those around us, we are making a commitment to “lighting up” the world!  When we help bring light to those around us that may be stuck in darkness, we are helping people – just be changing our own “energy patterns.”

The interesting thing, is that when we help raise the energy vibration of those around us, it reflects back to us, raising our own energy level as well.  What we put out to the universe is what we get back – and that is quite apparent with the level of energy that we radiate out to others.

Have you ever noticed how it seems that others match your tone of voice, anger, bitterness, happiness and joy?  What happens if you walk around your work place or home, humming a tune, or singing a song?  Do you think it makes others wonder why you are so happy?  Do you think it sets an example to others on how they, too, can be happy – even while they are working?  Of course it does!

Life keeps moving through each of the moments remaining in your “life’s bucket of moments.”  The question is how do you care to live those moments, and what “mark” do you want to leave on those around you – today!  Make a decision and a commitment to help make this world a better place with you in it.  That begins by making each interaction you have with others, one of lightness and energy.

Sometimes those around you may seem to be in a bitter, angry mood.  Rather than sending those people negative thoughts and judgments for how they “should behave,” throw them a rope to help lead them to the light!  Sometimes, everyone could use a life-line to pull them out of the dark spiral they find themselves trapped in.  Be that person for them.

Let go of the need to control other people’s moods and actions.  The easiest way to make a change in the world, is to be the role model for how you think the world should behave.  However, once you realize that everything and everyone is right where they should be at this moment in time, you will realize that there is no need for change in the first place.

Be the role model of lightness in the world.  When a light shines there is no darkness nearby.  When you are the light, you will never see darkness again!
