“I never hear you say an unkind word about anyone else – ever. Why is that?”
“It’s because I find something I like about every person I encounter, and I focus on that aspect of them!”
Ω
Yesterday, we talked about believing everyone likes you. Today, we would like to talk about finding something to like in everyone else.
When we focus on an aspect of a person, we begin to see more of that aspect. We also begin to produce “evidence” that supports that aspect. For instance, if we believe someone is smart we start to look for things that person does to support that belief. Conversely, if we believe someone is “out to get us,” we find actions and behaviors that we can use to support that belief.
Why not just focus on the good in people – all people? That includes your least favorite politician, family member, co-worker or acquaintance. That includes everyone that you know. Find the good in every person individually. Maybe you like the way a person is always smiling. Maybe you like the way a person dresses, or the food that they prepare to share with you. It can be something so small and build into more and more things until we realize that we are all connected.
When we understand that each person is an extension of ourselves in the non-physical plane we can give ourselves permission to “like them.” There is no need for dislike and hatred. When we like, we love, and when we love we accept and support. Imagine if you had the support of everyone that you know. How would that make you feel?
Well, we are here to tell you that you can have that support. It begins with you supporting them! What you give to the universe with integrity is magnified and reflected back to you. What you focus your energy and attention on, is what you will manifest. So, if we focus our energies on the goodness of every person that we encounter, we will manifest goodness in the world!
Today is a great day to take the time to look for the goodness within each person that we encounter. When you find yourself slipping into a moment of being judgmental , quickly pull yourself back to a position of likeness.

When we look for the bad in people and in the world, that is what we see. However, when we look for the good in people and in the world, that is also what we will see. The choice seems obvious since we get to decide what it is we will look for. Maybe today is the day you change your glasses and see the goodness everywhere around you!
