Listening For Guidance

Posted - Nov• 02•16

When things seem a bit more difficult than usual in your life, it might be a good opportunity to “listen for guidance.”

When we “listen” with our hearts, our eyes, our ears and our thoughts, we can feel and hear the guidance of our guides and the universe at large.  When we let ourselves be guided, we can have the help that we need in traversing the seemingly difficult terrain.  It is the guidance of the universe that is always at our side.

So, you might ask, “how do I listen for guidance?”  The first step is to quiet your mind.  You cannot hear the speaking of your inner-self when your mind is chattering with millions of thoughts.   When you quiet your mind, you can let your heart rate subside and your body relax.  When you are in a non-panicked, relaxed mode, you can think more clearly.  The thinking should not be from your mind though, it should come from your heart – your intuition.

When we “feel” our way rather than “logically thinking” our way, we are allowing ourselves to be guided.  When the analysis subsides, and is replaced by feelings, we are opening up to guidance.  The guidance that you receive may be subtle, but at some level in your heart, you know what you are being told.  Your inner-self in the non-physical world, is your guide in the physical realm.  Use it, so that you can find your way through even the toughest of situations!

When we feel rather than think, we are beginning to “hear” the guidance coming from our unseen selves.  Learn to listen and to be guided so that you can give your mind and your body a well deserved rest!
