Live Confidently

Posted - Apr• 08•15

When we have an insecurity, we can eliminate those insecurities with confidence.  Have you ever noticed how some people can wear an outfit that you would not even think of wearing, but they somehow feel good in it?  It’s because they are wearing their clothing with confidence!

When we do things with confidence, we eliminate the insecurities that we might have by showing others that we “know what we are doing.”  When we look, act, and behave like we have the most confidence in the world in our appearance, and our actions, we eliminate doubt.  When we give a speech with confidence, we provide the validation for the content of the speech, letting the audience take us seriously.

When we give a sales presentation with confidence, even when we are asking for a high price in the proposal, we are helping the prospect eliminate doubt.   When you present your project to your teacher and you back it up with confidence, you help convince the teacher to accept the point you are trying to make.  Think about how differently things would go if those presentations were done with insecurity.

The key to confidence is to have an inner-knowing, a belief that you are truly doing the “right thing.”  You cannot present a sales proposal to sell a product that goes against your integrity.  However, when you have a passion for a product and a company, it’s easy to demonstrate your own confidence.   When you go into an interview for a job, you can easily sell yourself when you have an inner-knowing that you will be a benefit to the prospective company.

When you are in, or entering a new relationship, you can proceed with confidence when you know that you will be a benefit to the other party.  You can proceed throughout your life with confidence when you absolutely believe in your heart that you are “selling” the right thing.

Today is a day to act, walk, dress, and live with confidence.  Let go of those insecurities that have been “holding you down.”  Open up to something new, and let your inner knowing take you to new, unexplored places!
