Live Your Real Life

Posted - Oct• 26•15

So what is really important to you?  What is your life about?  What is it that you are taking for granted?  What is it that you truly love?

Do you ever stop and wonder what this lifetime is about?  Do you ever ask what it is you are to learn in this lifetime?  If not, maybe today is the day you start asking those types of questions.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the trivialities of the day.   It might be the latest sound bite caught on tape, or the latest crave in the new, shiny gizmo.   However, what is it that you really care about?  Do you really care that much about what other people think of you?

We are here to tell you that most people really don’t think that much about you in the first place!  No, we are not being cynical.  What we are saying is that most people will not take notice of the outfit you are wearing, the way your hair looks or the car that you drive.  However, the better question to ask, is are you taking notice of things with others?  And if so, why?

Most people care about making connections with others.  Unfortunately, those connections are often times disguised by the costumes and parties around you.  However, when you can make the connection where everyone is stripped down to their core – that is what we are talking about.  Those types of connections are without judgment and game playing.  Those types of connections are genuinely about two people who care about each other.

When you look around your home, do you see the inadequacies, or are you able to let those go in favor of living your life?  When we let ourselves get distracted by the trivialities that are constantly placed in front of us, we let our real life slip by.  Pay attention today, if you are living your “real” life or a “trivial” one.

When we live our genuine life, we are able to see the beauty in everyone and everything.  We are able to distinguish between what is real and what is a distraction.  Look for what’s “real” in your life so that you do not need to repeat the same lessons in the next lifetime!
