If you want something – go get it!  That is, if you move forward with love and integrity.   Life is there for you to go get, if you really want it.

When we love someone, we need to tell them.  We need to demonstrate our love by example.  We need to remind ourselves that -  “this, too is temporary.”  That means we should not take it for granted.  Someday, the person that you love, or yourself, will return home.

We are not trying to make you sad.  No, we are only stating the facts.  Facts that we sometimes do not wish to see.  This is a reminder that love, like anything else, should not be taken for granted.  Love needs to be re-expressed daily, and should be expressed without strings.  After all, love is selfless.

When we realize that expressing our love for another is an act of love itself, we are able to get past the anger, the bitterness and the ego.  We realize that an expression of love is the biggest gift that we can give another.  We do not need to say anything, we need to act.  Our actions may go unnoticed, but being noticed is not the point.  The selfless action for another, is the point!

When we live a life of love, we are living a life for others.  Yes, we certainly take care of ourselves, and love ourselves.  What we are talking about is the expression of love for another.  When we love another, without expressing it, we are assuming the relationship will last forever.  However, eventually, you both will return home, where the relationship can once again continue.

Think about someone who you love dearly.  How are you expressing that love on a daily basis?  It is not a general statement, but specific things that you do each and every day.  Every day may be, and probably should be, a little different.  Think about whether or not an observer would be able to see your love for that person.

Today is a great day to express your love for those that are important in your life.  Do not blow the horn to announce your love.  No, we are talking about little things that no one may notice.  We are talking about selfless acts that should go unnoticed.  A truly selfless act is one that loses the identity of the giver.
