Yesterday, we talked about how money is a transfer of energy. Today, we would like to talk about other areas of energy – in particular, the energy of your thoughts. Think of your thoughts as the “money of your mind.” They transfer energy between the body and the mind. A thought, connects the mind and the body, similar to how money connects a buyer and a seller.
With the “money of the mind,” you can choose how you care to spend it. You can spend your “mind money” on thoughts that make the ego rich, or you may spend your “mind money” on thoughts that give you inspiration and growth. When we spend our thoughts thinking about things that are positive in nature, we are strengthening our body and our spirit. However, when our thoughts are spent toward things negative in nature, we weaken our body and spirit, while strengthening the ego.
Think of your thoughts, similar to how you might look at money. Thoughts, like money, are a transfer of energy. Like money, you can choose how you care to “spend” your thoughts. Similar to how you might carefully consider where your money goes, you might spend the time considering where you will spend your thoughts. Much like money, when we “spend” without be conscientious, we will not know where the “money” goes, and have little to show for our energies.
Be conscientious in your thinking. When you feel yourself sliding down the slippery slope of cynicism, anger, bitterness, hurt, etc., stop yourself! Put your hands out and bring that “thought cycle” to a halt. Get off the slippery slope and find a summit for you to enjoy the view. Change your thoughts in an instance – similar to turning on a light switch to remove the darkness in a room. Let yourself spend your “mind money” on energies that will provide good for you, and ultimately for all!

We do not typically spend our hard-earned money without consideration. Maybe it’s time to do the same with your “precious thoughts.” Be conscientious in what you think about, for what you think about, you attract into your life!
