“Why didn’t you do it when you had the chance?”
“I don’t know. I guess I thought I would have more time.”
Ω
Living in a physical body, we have a natural tendency to think that we will always “have more time.” That is, there will be another time to play ball with the kids. There will be another time to do something special for my mate. There will be another time to follow my passion. There will be another time…
However, as we age that thought begins to diminish. Instead, we begin to think that we wished we would have done “those things” when we had the chance. Looking back over one’s life, we often realize that the opportunities that were “missed” did not resurface again. Unfortunately, sometimes that realization occurs when those opportunities are no longer available to you for various reasons.
The good news, though, is that there are always opportunities available today! Sure, they may not be the things that require a younger, more fit body, but nonetheless other opportunities that were not available while you were younger are in fact available to you at this moment. The question is whether or not you are going to “squander” these opportunities, or live them?
When we begin to take our lives for granted, we are living without purpose. We are letting the short-term situations determine what we do and when we do it. There is never a “perfect” time to do things as far as your mind and ego are concerned. However, we are here to tell you that now is the “perfect” time!

When we wait until things seem to be “just right” before acting, we will someday come to the end of our lives and realize that they were never “just right” in our mind, but were always “just right” in our life!
