Money Worry

Posted - Sep• 03•14

What is money?  It seems many people of the world strive to earn it, and then focus on keeping it.  However, sometimes the more of it you have, the more concerned you become that you might lose it.  Money is a difficult concept and one that you need to come to grips with or you may waste this lifetime in its pursuit.

When we exchange money for goods and services, we are transferring the “energy” behind the money for the “energy” behind the good or service.  For example, suppose you hire someone to mow your lawn.  In the heat of the day, the person may work very hard to cut and manicure your lawn.  Their energy is provided in exchange for the energy that you exerted to receive the money that you will pass on to him for payment.

Every bill you have in your wallet, and every number in your bank account, has come from some sort of energy.  The energy placed behind those bills comes from many different people, who eventually transferred it to you.  Now it is up to you to decide how you would like to transfer your energies to someone else.

Sometimes, we make conscious decisions on our purchases, especially larger purchases such as a vehicle to drive, or a place to live.  When we make the decision for such purchases there is usually a sense of excitement, followed sometimes by a bit of unease.  Often times, we wonder if we can afford to pay for the items, and might be tied down to a financial commitment.  However, usually, the new change has enough excitement to help settle our unease.

When we go through our day, we may be less conscientious about our purchases.  For example, we might spend a bit of our “energy” on a drink to take to work, and a bit more on a lunch to eat for our break.  The day may have other “impulse” transfers of our energy as well.  The choice is yours, and is neither good nor bad.

The question that you might ask yourself is whether or not you feel the good or service is worth the energy you put forth that will be transferred during the transaction.  However, when we are so afraid of “spending” our “energies” for fear of losing it all, we are attracting that lack into our lives.  The interesting thing is where we place our energy towards or “energies” such as money, is what we will see manifest into our lives.

If we place energy toward a fear of lack, that is what we will see in our lives.  If we place energy toward a feeling of abundance, we will see more abundance in our lives.   The way we view “money” is what will  be instrumental in the flow of money into and out of our lives.  Take a moment to think about your view of money.  Do you feel you need more, or do you feel that you always have the money that you need when you need it?

If we feel that we always need more “money” we may feel that in other ways.  Again, since money is “energy” we might feel a lack of other energies in our lives as well – energy such as love, happiness and joy.   We may feel a lack of these energies in our lives, which will only manifest that “lack” in our lives.  However, if we shift our mindset to one of “plenty” or “abundance” we will see that manifest in our lives.

Think about the statement, “I have the money that I need.”  At this very moment in your life do you have the money that you need?  If the answer is yes, this is a true statement for you at this moment in your life.  Now, think about yesterday, and the day before that.  Go back until a time in your life when you maybe did not have the money that you needed.  Maybe you were at the gas station and did not have enough money to pay for the fill up.

Now, think about the time from then until now.  For some it may be a few days, and for others it may be a few decades when you did not have the money that you needed.   So, when that happened did you have money available to you, but maybe just didn’t have it with you?  If that is the case, go back further when you truly did not have the money available to you.  Maybe you did not have enough money to pay your rent and was evicted from your apartment.  Maybe you did not have enough money to buy the groceries necessary to feed your family.

Now, look where you are at this moment in your life.  If you are struggling to put food on the table, and to provide shelter for your family, you may have few moments where you have enough money at this point in time.  For others you may have gone years and decades with having enough money.  In those cases, you might ask yourself why you are so worried about your financial situation.  It may be time to trust in the universe.  Trust in yourself, and know that you will be okay.

For those that are going moment by moment with “having the money that you need at this moment in time,”  you might look back and understand that you have the capability to bring in the things that you need.   You might look back and ask whether or not you ever had gone without the necessary food and shelter.  You can build on the “knowing” that you always seem to manage, and change your thoughts to bring the abundance into your life for which you strive.  Make the changes you know you need to make, in order to make the moments for which you “have the money that you need,” be more plentiful.

When we look at money as a transfer of energy, we can begin to feel the energy behind the money.  We need to begin to trust ourselves, and the universe to provide the money that we need when we need it.  If you can do that, you can free yourself from the trap of “money worry.”
