More Intentional Thinking

Posted - Jun• 26•14

Once you begin to “think with intention,”  you will find that everything you do becomes “intentional.”  When we begin to control our minds to think about the things we care to think about, we can apply those techniques to other parts of our lives.

Letting go of the need to be right, and to let yourself leave the “unworthy” thoughts behind, lets you open up to a world of peace and calm.  When we begin to understand how our mind behaves we can attempt to “persuade” it to focus its attention on the areas for which we care to place our energies.

Your “energy” can be in the form of thoughts, actions, and your money.  Where you place these energies, can determine where you focus your life’s energy.  When you place beacons in your life, they serve as a guide, but also as a focus for your energies.  They can serve as a conscious decision on where you place your energies.   Now, we are expanding that concept to your “energies of thought.”

If you place your thoughts on the areas related to your beacons, you are beginning to think with intention, while also acting with intention.  It is as though you have decided that all of the unnecessary thoughts need not be a part of your life.  Many of those “unnecessary thoughts” are inspired by the ego.  The ego loves to help you think about how wrong the world is, how you were wronged by an individual, and how you are justified in your anger.

Rarely, will you see the ego encourage you to do good in the world and for yourself.  When you begin to think with intention, you will see how you need not give into the ego, for you will have much more peace, calm, happiness and joy without the ego in your mind.  Think about the things that inspire you.  Think about the things that encourage you to do whatever your heart desires.  Think about the things that help to inspire and encourage others.

Letting go of the “unintentional thoughts” will help you live a life of purpose.  It is the beginning to a “new beginning” in this very life.  Take the risk of leaving behind all of the old thoughts that have been holding you back.  Simply let go of them, and move forward – with a clean slate on your mind.  Let yourself, let go of the past, and remove yourself from worry over an undetermined future.  Let yourself focus on the thoughts that are pertinent to your happiness and well-being at this very moment.

When you “take care of” your own well-being, so long as you do it with integrity – you are helping with the well-being of the world.  Give yourself permission to do that very thing – take care of yourself.

When we begin to understand that our thoughts are the seeds for our belief systems, our reality, and our lives, we will see things as though it were the first time.
