Do you ever feel yourself being “pulled downward” with negativity? No matter what you do, it seems that almost nothing works to pull you back to a state of happiness, joy and excitement?
When we find ourselves in that negative state, we may attempt to figure out the cause of the negative energy. That may help in identifying “triggers” that can put you back to a negative state. However, the moment you are in a negative state like this, is not the time to do so. The best thing you can do is pull yourself out of the negative energy of darkness and later, when you are firmly entrenched in a positive state, should you attempt to identify the cause.
The question you might ask, is “how can I pull myself out of the negative state?” This may be different for each person. Deep down you can look inside for the best approach for you. You might need to continually adapt to find an approach that works for you.
The first step in “moving to lightness” is to fully acknowledge your current state, accept it, and then to make the decision that you will move to a state of lightness. If you do not consciously decide that you are going to move to a “light” state, you will not pull yourself away from the negativity. This is because your ego has you still convinced that being negative is more “fun” or more “deserving” of your pain caused by others.
For some people, they can sit quietly in meditation to visualize themselves walking through the door from a room filled with darkness to a room or world filled with light. You might visualize yourself sitting in a dark room where you feel for a window and pull open the shades to a beautiful sunrise outside. You might just sit quietly and make the decision to make the “state” change. The modality does not matter, but what matters is the decision to move to lightness.
After you make the decision to move to lightness, you no longer “look back.” When making the decision, avoid words like “try,” and “hope”, and replace with “will” and “do.” Life is not about “trying” it’s about “doing.”
Now, focus on all of the “lightness” of the world eventually getting to a point where you see the “darkness,” but you do not let it get embedded within your body and your mind. We can have empathy for the darkness of the world, but we do not need to let it lower our vibrational frequency. For when that happens, we become part of that darkness. When we stay at a high, “light” frequency, we are helping to bring “lightness” to the world.

When everyone around you seems to be in a negative, angry, bitter state, it may be an indication of your own state. Move yourself into the “light” and watch the world around you open up and shine as well!
