When it’s time to “move on” you must realize that growth is a natural occurrence in life. No matter how much we would like things to stay the same, they cannot and will not remain how they are today. Think about a building that was once covered in fresh paint and beautiful, and years later it is dilapidated and weathered.
Everything in your life requires a sense of “maintenance.” It is up to you to maintain your body, your mind, your relationships and your beacons. When you keep things in “good working order” you are moving with the flow of life and energy.
Often times, we sit back and wish that we could have our “old life” again. Well, no matter how much you reminisce you will not have the life from years ago. It is time to look to this moment and create the life that you would like to have now – today! It’s great to reminisce over past memories, but you must not “live in the past.” Today is the moment you have before you – how do you care to spend it?
Think of your moments in life as money. However, unlike monetary wealth, with “moment wealth” we have no idea how much we have. We do not know how many “moments” we have in our “bank account.” The only thing that we know for certain is that we have this moment at this point in time. Now, we ask, how do you care to spend it?
Would you like to create a positive impact on those around you, or would you like to squander this moment in negativity and anger? It’s time that you ask yourself the tough questions, and move from the past to the “current.” Someday, after all, you might be looking back on this point in your life, wishing that you could relive it. Especially, if you miss living it the first time around!
