Today is an opportunity for you to do the things that you wanted to do yesterday!

When we approach this day, we can look at it many different ways.  One way, is to think about it as “another work day,” and the weekend is almost here.  Another, is to think about today as an “opportunity day.”  A day, where you have the opportunity to make progress towards your beacons.  A day, where you have the opportunity to plant new beacons.  A day, where you have the opportunity to strengthen relationships and to spend time with your loved ones.  A day, with unlimited potential!

Treat this day with the graciousness that it so deserves.  Do not take this day for granted.  Think about the preciousness of this day.  Think about how today is the only day that you have at this moment in your life.  Treat this day with the value that it contains – and allow yourself to understand that “some day,”  “this day” will be your last!

Know that this lifetime is limited, even though your “life” is eternal.  Remember that nothing should be taken for granted.  Live today through the eyes of a child seeing a fantasy land for the first time.  Live today with gratitude and love for everything and everyone that you encounter.  Today is a day of opportunity, for all things are possible.
