Creating Vitality

You are energy.  You can bring in more energy at any time into your physical body.  Your thoughts can provide more or less energy to yourself – the choice is yours.

Have you ever had a day when no matter what you do, you feel tired?  Do those days seem to outnumber the days when you feel energized?  Well, we are here to tell you that your “energy level” is totally under your control.  It all begins with a conscious decision to “energize yourself” when you are feeling tired and worn out.

There are many ways to go about energizing yourself.  One of the best ways, is to create physical movement.  Maybe you go outside for a walk – even in the cold weather.  You can also move from the couch to a straight chair at a table.  The key is to awaken yourself with good posture and to get your body moving.

After you take action with your physical body to get the blood flowing and the heart rate increased, you can look to your mind.  Your thoughts either create more energy, or they can let it dissipate from your body.  Think about the last time you were excited about something.  Your body was energized by the simple thought that something exciting was about to take place.  The event did not energize your body, no, it was the thoughts associated with it.

You can capture energy by thinking energizing thoughts.  You might actually envision the energy of the universe entering your body, and awakening it to become active and vibrant.  That is something you can easily do virtually anywhere, in only a few minutes.  To begin, close your eyes and do your best to clear your mind.

Now, picture a white light coming from the sky and shining on the top of your head.  See the flow of energy from that light, much like the flow of a great waterfall.  Let the light and the energy from it, enter the top of your head and flow through your body out the bottom of your feet.  Let the light surround you on the outside of your body as well.  Feel the warmth, and the energy.  Do this for as long as you like.

Before you leave the light, set the intention that this energy will stay with you, and that you are alive and vibrant.  Open your eyes, and start moving!   This is your life and this day is one that you will live to the fullest.   Make the choice to have vitality and excitement in your life.

The creation or dissipation of your body’s energy is a choice that is made with your thoughts.  Set your intention to live a life of vitality, and bring the energy of the universe into your life!

Finding Your Passions

When you find your passion, it’s as though all of your so-called “problems” disappear, because you are focusing your thoughts on your passion.  When you find your passion, you will find that you are energized, because you are focusing on energetic things.  Find your passion and see what opens up for you.

So, what is your passion?  Do you know your passions?  We are not necessarily talking about careers and pursuits for so-called success.  No, your passion could be something as simple as planting a garden, painting a picture or making a soufflé.   Passions need not be exotic, but must come from a burning desire within.  Everyone has many passions, but few people have uncovered them.

Do you know of any of your passions?  Do you suspect you might know of one or two of your passions but you have not pursued them?  Maybe this week, you should focus some of the energy that you have been devoting to other less constructive things and think about your passions.   Now is the best time to find those passions and to begin the pursuit of them.

Often times we have a passion such as learning to play guitar, but we do not want to devote the time and energy into learning the guitar.  If that is the case, learning the guitar may not really be a passion.  A passion is one that easily overcomes barriers.  For someone who is passionate about learning the guitar, the obstacles to pursuing the knowledge and ability to play the guitar is minimal.  For some, the obstacles of paying for lessons, finding the time to get to the lesson, taking the time to practice and all is too much.   In those cases, your passion lies elsewhere.

When excuses begin to get in the way of pursuing your passion, you are not pursuing a passion at all.  Look for the things that do not seem to have obstacles for you, other than your willingness to go after it.  Those are your passions.   A passion is something that is all you can think about when you touch on its energy.   A passion is something that allows for you to “take a break” from the goings-on of the world.  A passion can consume your thoughts, your actions and your energies.  Yes, passions can be consuming so balance is necessary.  However, a person with a passion is much more enjoyable to be around!

InspiraCard

When we find a passion or two in our life, we are given an opportunity to “take a break” from the stresses of the world and to energize ourselves.  Take the time to find your passion so that it can carry you through the ups and downs of this lifetime!

Quieting the Voice

Step out of your mind for a moment.   Get away from the thoughts that seem to be never-ending.  Quiet the voice that seems to constantly chatter in your ear.  Step out of your mind into the moment of now!

When the mind is constantly abuzz with thoughts coming in all directions, it is difficult, if not impossible to be present.   The thoughts are usually accompanied by the “voice” that speaks the thoughts inside your head.  The voice is constantly speaking to you, and interrupting your ability to remain present.

When we experience this moment, we are not thinking about the past or worrying about the future.  No, those “thoughts” are coming from within.  The experience of this moment cannot be anything other than this moment right now!  It is our thoughts that pull us away into other periods of time.

When we think about the future, we are being pulled from the now.  When we think about the past, that too, pulls us away from the now.  It is the voice that is chattering away in your head that is pulling you away from this moment.  It is the “voice” that instills worry over the future and guilt and lament for the past.  When you learn to quiet that “voice” you can once again live in this moment!

The first step in quieting the “voice” is to listen for it.  When you find “the voice” you can begin to quiet it.  However, many of us do not even know that we have a voice chattering away in our head.  Today is a good day, to begin to listen to it and to start the process of quieting it.

When you “hear” the voice chattering away about something that is totally irrelevant to the current moment you can simply stop it.  Yes, you have that capability.  However, the quietness may be rather short-lived and the voice may start chattering about something else.  When that happens, you can quiet it again.  The key is to  keep your focus on the current moment.

A good time to practice this is when you are having a conversation with another person.  While he or she is talking you might hear the voice babbling away that distracts you so much you do not absorb what the other person is saying.  Take the opportunity to shut off the voice so that you can focus on listening.  When we listen, we have successfully quieted “the voice!”

InspiraCard

Our minds are continually racing with thoughts and the chatter of “the voice.”  Recognize and listen for the voice so that you can begin the process of learning how to quiet it.  When the voice is quieted, you will experience the world in a joyful, peaceful way!

This is Your Opportunity to Unite

Many people are waking up today with happiness, while just as many people are waking up in fear.  The election is over, and the country was split into two – the “winners” and the “losers.”

The question is “where do you go from here?”  For the “winners” they can proceed with a smile, for they picked the winning candidate.  They can look to the future with excitement and hope.  Hope that their candidate follows through on the many promises made during the campaign.  For the “losers” they might be confused and afraid.  Rather than hope for follow through on the winning candidate’s promises, they have fear of them coming to fruition.

Much reflection must come from the country so that the rift that has developed over the recent decades can begin to heal.  That healing, begins with each other.  That healing begins with the knowing that “this too, is in perfect order.”  We must know that half of the country thinks differently than you.  That “half,” must also know that you think differently than them.  However, everyone has their own truth, but only one leader can prevail.

When “your” leader is always in charge, it’s easy for you to live in comfort.  However, when “their” leader is in charge, it’s time for you to look with an open mind.  The leaders must change back and forth or the dominance of “one side” becomes too great.  It’s time for a change, whenever a position of leadership becomes too dominant.  This is that time!

Unlike what you may think, the country, the world, and yourself will be okay.  This is a change that you may be fearful of, but the fact of the matter is that you do not know what the future holds.  Let go of the ego and the fear in your life, and move forward with confidence and love.   When you are on the “winning” side, it is difficult to forge relationships of unity.  However, if you find yourself on the “losing” side this go around, you have much opportunity for unity.    Maybe, that is why this result is so perfect, to give you a chance to unite?

Go about your day with a smile on your face.  If you are happy with the result, be kind and open to others not feeling so well.  If you are disappointed and fearful, open up to the possibility that half the country was not “wrong.”  Be open to the possibility that just maybe, this is the perfect leader for this time in history!

InspiraCard

When we are fearful of the future, we need to understand that fear is a negative emotion that serves no purpose.  Hold onto this moment in your life and find happiness in the Now!

The Perfect Candidate Will Win

When the country comes together in a peaceful way to decide their next leader, we cannot go wrong!  Everything is in perfect order.

Today is a historical day in the United States.  Today, the people will decide their next leader.  Today is the day that so many people in so many areas of the world long to have in their country.  Today is election day.

This year, it seems as though the country has been divided.  This election has been one that is of historical significance.  Although, you may feel with every fiber of being, that one of the candidates will be devastating for our country, what happens is in perfect order.   Even though you may firmly believe one way or another, ultimately no one knows what will be best for our country – including you!

After you cast your ballot, might we recommend that you then find something in each of the candidates that you admire.  Find a way to support the “other side” should “your side” lose.  After all, when we come together we are united!

The thing that many of us seem to forget, is that we already have a winner.  We have “won” by just being allowed to have this process of elimination in the next step for picking a president.  The world is watching and how the people react is important.  When we choose sides in a hard-fought political battle, we need to set our differences aside when the votes have been cast and support each other.

When we come together we can demonstrate to the world and to our families how things are to be done – with grace and dignity.  After all, everything is in perfect order, even when our candidate does not win.

InspiraCard

Let go of the notion of picking a side, and pick a country, which is the world!  My country is the world, and everything is in perfect order!

Creating a Positive Reality

Use your mind for good!  Your mind is so powerful, that whatever you think about, creates energy!

What you think about creates energy.   Your mind has the power to put the forces of universal energy into to play, so that things materialize in the physical world!  Think about it.  What you are thinking about is what you will experience and receive in this world.

Imagine the power that you have with something as simple as a thought.  When you think the world is a dire place, that is what you will see and experience, and bring more of into your life!  When you think that the world is a happy, joyful place, that too, is what you will experience and bring more of into  your life.

You have the power to create your own reality.  That reality is all based on your thoughts.  What you think about, typically does not manifest itself into your life immediately.  However, over time, the energy of those thoughts come back to you – either positive or negative thoughts, it does not matter.  That means that if you continually think negatively about your life, about others, etcetera,  that is what you will experience.  It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy, if you will.

Today is a great day to begin to observe your thoughts and your underlying beliefs.  After all, your beliefs are at the core of your thoughts.  Today is a great day to start throwing out the beliefs that only create negativity in your life and replace those with beliefs that are positive in nature.  Today is the day for you to create the reality and the life that you want to live!

InspiraCard

It is so easy to get caught up in the “negativity tide” of the day.   The wise person steps away and decides for themselves what they will think about and bring into their lives.  Maybe it’s time that we all follow the wise person and create a reality with our thoughts that gives us peace and happiness!

Moments

Life is meant to be lived, one day at a time!  When we look forward or backwards, we are letting this moment pass us by.  “What is a moment,”  you might ask?   A moment depends on your perspective.  This lifetime can be a moment, or the breath that is currently in your lungs can be a moment until it’s released.  The key is to know that this moment is your gift to spend as you wish, while remembering that “this moment” will some day be your last.

When we worry about the future, or lament the past, we are sacrificing this moment for the unknown, or to relive a prior moment.  When we take our moments for granted, we will someday wish that we hadn’t squandered them.  This moment, that you currently hold in your hand is yours and yours alone.  The question is, what will you do with it?

Living in the physical world presents many challenges and struggles.  It’s so easy to get caught up in all of it, while forgetting to “breathe.”   The things that we once thought were so important, can suddenly become an afterthought when something much bigger enters our lives.  Nothing is good or bad, it just is.

Today is a great day to review how you are spending your moments.  Yes, we understand the commitments of each person’s lives can be great.  There is always a reason why you might not be spending your moments the way you had planned, but rather let “your moment” lie in wait.  However, someday you will reach your last moment and you will no longer be able to wait.  It is today that you have before you, not tomorrow, or the next day.  What are you going to do with this day?

InspiraCard

Moments come and go, but can never come back again.  Fulfill your commitments that can be a distraction and then come back to this moment.  Living your life to the fullest begins right now!

Listening For Guidance

When things seem a bit more difficult than usual in your life, it might be a good opportunity to “listen for guidance.”

When we “listen” with our hearts, our eyes, our ears and our thoughts, we can feel and hear the guidance of our guides and the universe at large.  When we let ourselves be guided, we can have the help that we need in traversing the seemingly difficult terrain.  It is the guidance of the universe that is always at our side.

So, you might ask, “how do I listen for guidance?”  The first step is to quiet your mind.  You cannot hear the speaking of your inner-self when your mind is chattering with millions of thoughts.   When you quiet your mind, you can let your heart rate subside and your body relax.  When you are in a non-panicked, relaxed mode, you can think more clearly.  The thinking should not be from your mind though, it should come from your heart – your intuition.

When we “feel” our way rather than “logically thinking” our way, we are allowing ourselves to be guided.  When the analysis subsides, and is replaced by feelings, we are opening up to guidance.  The guidance that you receive may be subtle, but at some level in your heart, you know what you are being told.  Your inner-self in the non-physical world, is your guide in the physical realm.  Use it, so that you can find your way through even the toughest of situations!

InspiraCard

When we feel rather than think, we are beginning to “hear” the guidance coming from our unseen selves.  Learn to listen and to be guided so that you can give your mind and your body a well deserved rest!

Refocus Your Energies

Rather than looking for the “problems” in your life, look for the learning opportunities!  When we focus our energies on “problems” we are putting out that energy to the universe, which only brings more of the same.  However, when we focus on the things, events, and people who we want in our lives, that too, is what we will receive.

The energy that you put out into the world, is amplified and reflected back to you.  When you put the energy of “scarcity” out to the world, through your thoughts and your actions, you will receive exactly that – scarcity.  When you put the energy of “abundance” out to the world, that is what gets amplified and reflected back to you!

Knowing this universal law, doesn’t it make sense to think about and to focus on the things that you want in your life?  It’s such a simple concept, yet we constantly need to be reminded of it.  That is because when we exist in a physical body, we take on the attributes of the physical world.  One of which, is to focus on the scarcity of your life rather than to appreciate what you have.

No matter how hard we try, we need to periodically “reset” ourselves, to refocus our energies.  When we refocus our energy, we can direct it to the things, events and people who we would like more of in our lives.  Today is a great day for you to refocus your energy, and your thoughts.  What have you been focusing on lately?  Is it something that you would like more of in your life?  If not, it’s time to refocus your attention and thus your energy towards something else.

If you do not know what you want in this life, but only know what you do not want you need to swap your thinking.  Take the time to envision your life as you would like to see it.  Envision a life at your current age and an age into the future, that you would like to live.   Do not focus on the past, and long for repeating it, but think about how the future and the present time might look.

When you find yourself focusing on the scarcity of your life, that should be a clue to refocus your energy!  Dream about your life so that you can envision it the way you would like it to be.  Send the energy out to the universe that will bring more of the things, people and events that you would like to manifest into your life.   Life is yours.  It’s up to you to decide how it’s going to look, feel and be!

InspiraCard

Refocus your attention to attract more of the things, events and people who you would like to be a part of your life.  The universe will eventually provide those things to you, no matter if you want them or not, based on your energy.  Put your energy into something positive to help you live the life of your dreams!

Overthinking Your Life

Life is not that complicated.  If it’s something in your control that is bothering you, then do it!  If it’s not in your control, then let it go!

We have a tendency to over think and over complicate our lives.  We want to analyze and evaluate sometimes the most minute, unimportant thing, while missing the beauty and the happiness around us.  When we analyze, we are going inside of our minds to thrash through endless thoughts.  When we appreciate, we open up our senses to the world around us, while giving our minds a rest.

Maybe today is the day where you give your mind a rest.  Today is a great day to watch yourself.  Observe and notice when your mind is racing with thoughts.  Then, stop yourself and take note of the things for which you are thinking.  Are they about things that are within your control?  If so, it might be a good opportunity to take out a pencil and paper and begin to devise a plan or a list of tasks.  If not, you might objectively ask yourself what good this is doing for you.

When we let our minds control our lives, we are giving in to the ego.  The ego likes a racing mind, because it will convince you how you’ve been wronged by others.  The ego will convince you that you should feel hurt, or angry.  The ego gives you the support that you strive for, in your internal quest to feel that you are justified in your actions and your thoughts!

However, when we realize that we are not the ego (yes, the ego is definitely a part of who we are, but we are not it!),  we are nature.  We are love.  We are whole with everyone else!  The ego divides and separates, which is the antithesis of who we are.  When you see that your thoughts drive your entire life, you can begin to simply let your thoughts drift away without emotion.

Let go of the need for the “daily drama” in your life.  You may argue that you certainly do not need any “drama.”  However, if you have drama, you are ultimately the one who creates it by giving it permission to enter your life.  When we take an event, and “process it” in our minds, something entirely different is then perceived.  When we observe an event, and let it pass through our bodies unobstructed, we are entirely in the present moment.

InspiraCard

Catch yourself mulling over thoughts in your mind.  Stop and objectively observe those thoughts.  Once you realize that you have a stream of thoughts racing in your mind, you can begin the process of quieting them!
