Finding Clarity

No one knows how it’s going to be at the end.  We know how we’ve come into this world and this lifetime, but we do not know how we’re going to exit this lifetime.  One thing is for certain, this lifetime is a temporary existence on the spectrum of our infinite self.

Sometimes it’s hard to admit that we are only in this body for a relatively short period of time.  After we “return home” the world will keep on going.  Life continues in both the physical and non-physical worlds.  It is the return home that seems like an ending, but is the continuation of an infinite self.

As we move through the events of the day, week, and our entire lifetime, it is easy to get wrapped up into those events, while forgetting the higher picture.  Life is not about accumulations and accolades.  Life is about love, joy, happiness and peace.  Life is about this moment that we can choose how to live.

No matter your circumstances, there are still choices to be made.   Choices that come from within that will determine your level of joy – for this moment.  Always remember the temporariness of this lifetime so that you might avoid getting wrapped up in the “drama du jour!”   Drama is created in the mind with a model of thoughts.  In reality though, the drama never matters at the end.

When you are nearing the end, do you think you will care about politics?  Do you think you will care about what Aunt Mabel said at the dinner table?   When we near the end of this lifetime, we begin to have clarity.   A clarity that some may have never experienced beforehand.  With that clarity comes some awareness of what’s really important.

Imagine yourself nearing the end of this lifetime.  Think about what will be important to you at that moment in time.  Now imagine if you placed the same importance on those things now.  Maybe, you can gain clarity before nearing the end.  Maybe, you can have that clarity now!

Put yourself on a higher plane.  Look down on this lifetime and see what is truly important.  The sooner you find the importance of life, the more time you will have to enjoy it!

Your Truth is Within

The road of success if riddled with obstacles.  The question is how are you going to handle those obstacles?

When we decided to come to this lifetime we entered the physical world wanting a physical experience.  That experience is as much about the challenges as the successes.  The challenges can be more rewarding than the successes.  After all, life is a success so long as you follow your truth.

So what is your “truth?”  To many, their truth might be their passions, or their career.  In some cases, a person’s passion is their career.  For others, their truth might be more noble in the sense they are wanting to help others and to make the world a better place.  Everyone has their own idea of their “truth.”

When we speak of a person’s “truth” we are referring to their inner-self.  When you find their inner-self you can then know your truth.  Getting in touch with your inner-self means that you are in touch with that non-physical part of who you are.  The physical self is some 10% of your entire self.  The remaining self is in the non-physical plane.

A person finds their “truth” when they find their non-physical self.  That part of who they are, is truth.  Sometimes that truth cannot be translated into the physical world.  It may seem like a difficult concept to grasp, but it is a concept that spans lifetimes – your lifetimes.  The non-physical self lives beyond this physical lifetime.

So, when you think about your “truth,”  you can start to become aware of the non-physical self that lies within you.  To get to the “truth” you must go inside of yourself.   It does not exist anywhere else, especially outside of you.  Many people seek their truth from the sage, but they already have the truth within themselves.

In order to uncover your inner-self, it is important to sit quietly with yourself.  Let your mind clear of the “daily chatter” and listen for the words of your truth.  Those words are spoken not from this world, but from the infinite universe.  When you tap into your truth, you will see the purpose for this life’s journey.

InspiraCard

Your life extends beyond this physical body.  It lives forever in the non-physical plane.  When you awaken to your inner-self, you will see the entire picture!

Act on Your Ambitions

If you want something – go get it!  Yes, it is okay to want something and to go after it.  That is, if you are coming from a place of integrity.

If there is something that you want to do, then it’s time to do the things necessary to get you to that place.   If there is something that you want to possess, then it’s time to do the things that allow for you to have it.  Life is not about lack.  Life is about abundance of love, happiness and joy.  Life is not to be a struggle, but to learn from those challenges so that we can enjoy periods of ease.

Too many times, we feel almost embarrassed or unworthy to receive the gifts of the universe.  Yes, there are universal gifts.  However, we must go get them.  We need to do the emotional and physical work necessary to receive those gifts.  Sometimes, it is all work, but the reward can be the gift that you desire.

When we want something, we need to do the work necessary to earn it.  The gifts of the universe are earned through our patience, confidence, love, and sometimes hard work.  We can wish for things to come into our lives, but we need to also act upon those wishes.  If we want to meet the “love of our life,”  we might need to put ourselves in a position where we can meet people.   If you want to land your dream job, you might need to build the required skills and start finding the job openings.

Life is about action.  When we act, we find a result.  Sometimes the result is less than desirable, but is necessary in our lives for one reason or another.  When we begin to accept everything and everyone that enters our lives, without trying to figure out the rationale behind everything, we can live this moment.  When we live this moment we may be working our plan, while enjoying the beauty around us.

What is it that you are holding back from doing or receiving?  You are worthy of the life that you would like to live.  Only you can hold yourself back, no one else.  Life is about relationships and interactions with others, but only you are in this physical body.  Only you, have the thoughts in your head.  Only you can decide the actions that you may or may not take.  Today is the day to go up and pick that peach high in the tree!

When we act on the ambitions of life, we are fulfilling our purpose, while helping others act on their own ambitions as well.  There is no judgment amongst the circle of souls supporting you.  This is your life, so start living it!

Work Your Plan

What’s your plan for this day?  Do you have a mental “road map” on how you would like this do to go?  Do you have an idea of the things that you would like to accomplish today?  What about for the week, the month and years ahead?

When we plan our day and our lives, we give ourselves the opportunity to be efficient in our work and our tasks.  Without some sense of planning, we may have scattered energy that prevents us from being at our most efficient selves.  When we plan our work, and work against that plan we allow for the “doing” to be done after the “thinking.”

When we separate the “thinking” from the “doing” we can be most efficient.  Think about the last time you planned a particular task.  Suppose you were building a house.  You may have met with a designer or architect who listened to your requests and developed a blue print for the house.  You might then get together to review the plans and to make any necessary adjustments.  The plan determines the house.  The workers building the house need not know your requests or even speak with you, because those requests are represented in the plan.

The same is true in your everyday life.  The plan that you create is the blueprint for your day ahead.  As you become more proficient in planning your day, you will want to extend your plans to the week, month, and even years ahead.  The plan is where you figure out what it is you want in your life.  The plan is where you decide what it is that you would like to accomplish.  The plan is your blue print for your day and life ahead.

Yes, there are often times when the plan needs to be revised after the “building” begins.  The plan may have missed an issue that is uncovered after the physical house is constructed.  The plan is only as good as the foresight of the person developing it.  Yes, it’s okay to alter the plan as you go, but it is important to get it as close to the finished product as possible.  The better the plan, the more efficient the implementation will be.

So, we once again ask you, “do you have a plan for this day?”  A schedule is very close to a plan, and for some the schedule may dictate their day.  However, what about the details of the tasks on the schedule?  For example, suppose you know that at 6:00 you will be eating dinner.  That would be the schedule.  The plan would dictate what it is you will be making, or where you will be going, if you plan to eat away from home.  If you will be eating at home, you might need to think about what you will be preparing, and the ingredients necessary for the meal.

When we plan the tasks involved in our day, we can easily give the plan, or the blueprint to someone else to implement.  Typically, the architect does none of the building, and the builders do none of the architecture.  Would that be possible in your life?   You’ll never know, though, unless you build and plan!

InspiraCard

Take the time to plan your day and the tasks within your schedule.  Do everything necessary ahead of time, so that you can be present and mindful in your work without having to think!  There is a time for thinking and a time for working, and it’s most efficient to keep those two things separate!

Perspective

Perspective is a key to living a happy and joyful life.   When we keep things in perspective, we are separating the “small stuff” from the more “important stuff.”  When we have an opportunity to enjoy and live in this moment, we can take advantage of that opportunity by not worrying about the “big stuff.”

The interesting thing about “perspective” is that it is always changing with the moment.  When we understand that being obsessed and connected with outcome is a recipe for angst, we can live the moment.   The perspective of the moment is what can keep us aligned with our truth.  When we understand that things change, and our perspective of this moment changes as well, we can give ourselves permission to “take a break” from the “big stuff.”

It’s okay and encouraged to take a break from the “big stuff” as often as you can.   And, we are here to tell you that you “can” in virtually every moment!  The “big stuff” need not be “big” at all.  The “big stuff” is only “big” in your mental thoughts.  Yes, we understand the health and well-being of a loved one is definitely “big stuff.”  However, you must continue to live this moment.  No matter the so-called size of the “problem” you do not have permission to quit living your life.  Your life, just may have shifted a bit, but you can still have happiness and joy.

InspiraCard

Our lives are like the shifting sands of the beach.  We may be changing over time, but we can still enjoy the ocean.  As you grow in this life’s journey in age and wisdom, remember to find the perspective of the bigger picture that spans many lifetimes!

Energetic Encouragement

Criticism is the antithesis of creation.  When we criticize, we destroy.  We destroy the energy of the person being criticized.  When we encourage others, we help foster the energy of the person we are supporting.

Think about a time when you were excited about something, only to have a person such as a close friend, or family member say something negative to criticize you.  What happened to your energy and your excitement?  Were you deflated like a balloon losing it’s air?

Now think of another time, when you were excited about something and possibly those same people were excited with you.  What happened to your energy in that case?  Were you more excited, and feeling more energized?  That is what happens when we support and encourage each other – we help create more energy around that person.

Criticizing others is destructive in nature.  It can destroy the hopes and dreams of another, but even when the criticism is kept to yourself, it can lower your energy and stifle your own hopes and dreams.  To create, is to support and engage in the opportunity and potential that life has to offer.   It is not within others, but within yourself, to find that opportunity and potential.   This is often referred to as “optimism.”

Yes, the political scenes of today have two opposing views on “optimism” versus “criticism.”   This is not what we are talking about, exactly.  We are talking mostly of your tendencies in your own life.  Do you tend to be optimistic, or a critic?  The choice is yours if you would like to change to optimism.  The first step is catching yourself criticizing.

Look around as you go about your day.  What thoughts come to you?  Are they   criticisms or more along the line of optimisms?  When you catch yourself criticizing in your thoughts, challenge yourself to flip those thoughts to encouraging, and supporting thoughts.   Take notice of the tendency to criticize and then change your thoughts.  It’s as simple as that.

It’s easy to destroy a great work of art that might take decades to create.   However, it is the artist who finds the happiness and joy that the destructor so desires!

Gain Confidence by Doing

How does one gain confidence?  Do you know someone who seems to be the most confident person?  Maybe he or she tackles things in their life that seem almost impossible for you.  How do you think that happens?

We are here to tell you the secret to gaining confidence – is doing!  That’s it.  When you “do,” you gain the confidence to “do” again.  The next time, you might turn it up a notch and “do” a little more.  That keeps repeating until one day you are a “pillar of confidence.”

Think about something in your life for which you feel confident.  Now ask yourself why you are confident about that aspect of your life?  Think back to the events that have led you to that confidence.  Do you see how your life’s experiences help you gain confidence?

Do you remember the first time you may have taken a trip by yourself, or without a parent or guardian?  Were you a little nervous?  Are you nervous now when you take a similar trip?  We grow through doing.  When we grow we gain the confidence to continue growing – a little bit at a time.

Sure, some people jump in with both feet to tackle the most challenging things.  Others, build up their confidence by taking on bigger and bigger things in their lives until they don’t even realize that for some, what they are doing would be a challenge.  Confidence comes bit by bit, with action by action.  Confidence does not come from thinking and sitting on the couch, by rather by “doing!”

Think about something in your life right now that might be holding you back.  Something that you would like to do, but maybe you are a little afraid to move forward.  Now look at something similar that can move your confidence in that direction, that you are less afraid to do.  Then, go do it!

If you want to grow, you must get out and move.  We need to take that first step in order to complete the marathon.  However, we don’t need to start running with a marathon, we can start small and grow the confidence and stamina needed!

InspiraCard

Confidence is not something most people bring with them to this lifetime.   It is built, brick by brick from the activities and events in our lives.  Events and activities that require us to do something!  Begin today, and do something small so that later you will have the confidence for the big things!

You Have Unlimited Potential

Your potential is unlimited!  The question is are you going to do the work and the things necessary to begin to realize that potential?

At some level we all may believe that we can do anything.  At some level, we may have touched upon our unlimited potential – that store of energy that is connected directly to the source energy.   Yes, we all have most likely touched upon that energy at some point in our lives – usually during our childhood.

As time goes by, there were reasons that most of us began to stifle that “unlimited energy potential.”  Typically, it’s because we grow up and begin to see and understand how the “world really works.”  We begin to see how we need to work to pay the bills.  How life is not all fun and games, but is more work and struggle.  At some point, our “childness” within us begins to slowly get covered up by “adultness.”  At some point, we might forget altogether the excitement we had as a child to “be an astronaut, or a doctor, or fireman.”

Life begins to take its toll, and we forget our dreams and the feeling of that capability of being able to do anything that we put our minds to.  That life, is what most people experience as they grow older and older in their life’s journey.

Well, wake up!   That time is over.  It’s time to go back to those childhood dreams, which were not dreams at all, and uncover that feeling of unlimited potential.  It’s time to dig deep within yourself and find the well of energy that may have been covered up for decades.  Yes, the energy is still there.  Yes, no matter your age, you still have unlimited potential.   Yes, you are special.

When we forget about our unlimited potential, we begin to let the world take its toll on us.  However, it has always been there.  The capability to be or do anything that you would like to be or do is still there – so long as you proceed with integrity, love and unity!  Life is unlimited potential.

So, “how do I uncover my unlimited potential?” you might ask.  Well, it begins by sitting quietly with yourself.  Focus on the breath in and out of your body.  Bring your mind to the present.   Hear the sounds around you.  The hammering of a construction worker in the distance.  A wind chime, a motor running.  Bring yourself to this moment in time.  The moment the breath fills your lungs.  Bring your awareness to the present.

When you begin to feel your awareness, you can start to feel the energy of unlimited potential that is within you.  Do not look anywhere but within, for the energy of your spirit.  The energy of your soul.  The energy of your essence.  It is all within.

InspiraCard

When we go back to the feelings of our childhood, we can remember the energy that was with us when we entered this lifetime.  Find that energy through meditation and sitting quietly with yourself.  When you tap back into that familiar energy you will realize that you can do great things!

Let Yourself Shine

When we share our talents and skills with others we are allowing our inner self to guide the world.  When we open up to a way of service, we allow for the energy of goodness to penetrate those around us.

Yes, it is important to “have your house in order,” before reaching out to helping others.  When it is time to serve, you will know that you are sharing your skills and talents.  It is not about feeding your ego with the “good deeds” that accumulate on its scorecard.   No, it’s about giving back to the universe, and being the light to encourage others to do the same.

One of the best things that you can do is to let your light shine.  Open up to the possibility that you might help encourage others to find their own light.  Yes, you can be the person that might help motivate another.  Yes, your talents and skills might help another develop their talents and skills.  Let those talents and skills be known so that others may be encouraged by them.

Every person has a unique set of talents and skills.  Every one of us is good at something.   Let the light shine on you so that you can help lift those around you.  It is not rooted in ego that attempts to lift yourself at the expense of others.  No, this is about taking the basket off of the light that needs to shine brightly.

Have you been around people who always seem to have positive energy?  When you leave a conversation with them you feel uplifted and motivated.  Those people are letting their light shine.  Those people have figured out how to find their own light and how letting it shine brightens those around them.  Yes, it’s not only okay, but encouraged to do the same – let that light of yours shine!

InspiraCard

Often times we feel that when we step into a talent or skill, we are boasting.  We believe in modesty at the cost of stifling our own talents.  Today is the day to step into whatever talents you have and to encourage others to do the same.  When you let yourself shine, you are lighting those around you as well!

The Day After

The day after the wedding, the marriage may begin.  The day after the surgery, the healing can take place.  The day after the “event” your life’s journey continues.

There are many events in our lives.  Some of the events are celebrations with friends and families.  Other events are more serious in nature and are gone about alone.  All “events” in our lives, though, are a necessary part of this journey.   The key is to learn what it is you need to know to continue on your path.

When we climb a great mountain we can enjoy the view from the summit.  The road back to your life, though, may be a difficult one.   When we enjoy each moment of our life, even when things are not so much fun, we are making the most of every breath in our lungs.  When we take a breath, we seldom notice it.  However, that breath is a moment of your life.  That heart beat, is a moment in your life.  Your life is the “here and the now,”  not the “over there, and the later.”

Yes, we all have difficulties and will have more of them before we leave the physical plane to return home.  Yes, we will all have joyous moments, and will have more of them before returning home as well.  The thing to recognize, though, is that the difficult moments can be joyous as well.  When we look to the difficulties, not as being “difficult,” but rather as opportunities, we can shift our belief system.  There is no need to accept “difficulty,” but rather to find the opportunity for growth hidden within it.

Have you ever been around a person who seems to have a difficult life, but is always happy?  Conversely, have you been around a person who seems to have a good life, but seems to obsess on their challenges?  Which person would you like to be?  Today is the day to make the decision to embrace the difficulties as much as you embrace the celebrations.  Make each day a “wedding” that propels you into the rest of your life!

InspiraCard

When we see the world through the eyes of an optimist, we always find the beauty.  Maybe today, you should be the optimist and see the beauty in everyone and everything that you encounter!
