Some parts of our journey, we must travel alone.  We come into this world naked and vulnerable.  Our mother is there to greet us, usually, alongside other family that is our “blood.”  That family walks the path of life, with others joining us along the way.

For many, they form their own family and the walk of life continues.   However, there are times when the paths diverge  – sometimes, only momentarily, to join again down the road.  When you find yourself or see someone else walking their individual path, you may feel the yearning to help.

We can guide others that are on their self path, but we cannot walk that path together.  There are many paths that are travelled with others, but many paths must be traversed alone.  When we understand that we all have our “self paths” we can see that everything is in order.   Without those paths alone, we cannot grow as we may need.

Just like when we enter the world alone, we will all someday return “home” from the physical world – alone.  There is no need to worry, or for fear, because we all know at a spiritual level the comfort of our true home.

Life is not about this “lifetime.”  No, life is about the infinite being we call our inner-self.  That person is who we are, taking temporary residence in this body we call our self.  Understand that each journey that we take alone is a “short cut” in the journey of life!
