Rainbows

Posted - May• 26•15

After the storm passed over, the sailors were comforted by the rainbow in the horizon.

Rainbows are present in our lives on a daily basis.  They are there to tell us that we are going to be okay.  We need to look for the good and positive things in our lives to relate to the rainbow.

When the storm is over, the sun comes out, and uses the remnants of the rain to create a beautiful scene over the area just hit by the storm.  Life is much the same.  When we “weather the storm” we are often greeted with a “rainbow” created by some of the “remnants” of the “storm.”   Remnants that would not exist without the “storm.”

If storms create rainbows in nature, what “storms” are creating “rainbows” in your life today?  When we look for the positive in everything and everyone that is a part of our life, we can help identify and enjoy the beauty of the “rainbow.”  With challenges, comes growth.  If you are one who seems to have lots of challenges in your life, then when you persevere through to the other side of those challenges, you will be greeted with growth represented by a rainbow.

Look at the flowers that come to bloom after a rain shower.  The grasses turn green, after soaking up the water.  The trees, grow new leaves and branch higher in the sky.  Growth follows the “storm.”  The same is true in your life.

When the storm passes through, many look at the devastation that was left in its wake.  However, others, focus on the growth and beauty created by the storm while enjoying the rainbow painted in the sky!
