When you hit a so-called “road block,”  you have two choices – opportunity, or obstacle.  When you choose to use the road block as an “obstacle,”  you are giving into the norm of society at large.  However, the few people who view the road block as an “opportunity” see the world differently.

Be the person that looks for the opportunity when most others look for obstacles.  Look for the opportunity for growth and living with excitement.  Be open to anything and everything.  Yes, every so-called road block can be viewed as an opportunity – it’s up to you to find that opportunity.

In order to grow, we need a bit of struggle in our lives.  We cannot outgrow ourselves, without the “growing pains” associated with the change.  However, nothing need be “pain.”  Pain is a choice.  You can treat a roadblock as an opportunity that flows with the universe.  The pain is caused, when we are out of flow with the universal energy.

When you realize the direction of the wind, you can flow with the wind, effortlessly taking you to new places.  However, if you fight the wind to go to a predetermined location, you can cause yourself much struggle and pain.  Yes, it’s important to set your beacons and plot your course towards those beacons, but the best of sailors can use the wind to their advantage.  Let the wind guide you to new heights, while staying focused on the general direction of your beacons.

Life is full of fun surprises.  The question is how do you view those “surprises?”  When you can be open to anything that is cast your way, you will find that life is actually really good!  It is us that makes it difficult.
