“I didn’t know you could sing so well.”
“Not many people do. I seldom sing for others. Usually, I just sing in the shower.”
“Well, you should share your voice with more people. You are really good.”

What is it that you have buried inside of you that you are not sharing with the world? Do you have a passion for painting a picture, making an art piece, writing a poem, or singing a song? Maybe your passion is to build a book-case, or to write a computer program, or book. Whatever, is yearning to “play” to the world, maybe today is the day to begin sharing it.
We all have talents that we can share with others. The ego may be trying to convince you that, “no one cares.” However, if you let go of the need to be “validated” for whatever you do, you will find that it does not matter if anyone “cares” or not. What matters is that you let go of the secrecy and fear, and allow yourself to “be” yourself.
Too many times, we “lock up” some aspect of ourselves, because we feel it is not relevant to others. We do not give ourselves any credit, and assume that no one wants to see our talents. That can be a difficult thing to do, when there are so many other “professionals” that may do the thing, such as singing, much better than we do. That is generally, true. However, if something such as singing gives you joy, then do it. Share it with those living in your household. It need not be for earning a living. It’s for spreading joy to others.
Suppose you enjoy singing, and you sing in your home while you do your chores. Your family, and maybe a few close friends may hear you. What would happen if you sang softly while shopping at the grocery store? Do you think some of the people around you might enjoy it? Do you think it could bring others in the store a bit of happiness and joy? Do you think it might encourage them to open up with whatever they are holding inside of them? Absolutely.

The world is full of people who die with talents that are revealed to their friends and family at their funeral. Maybe we should share our talents before that day. Today is the day to begin letting your “music play.”
