Do you ever wonder how so many people in a company can come together enough to produce a product that goes to market? There can be differing opinions, and personalities that eventually come together to build something. Sometimes, those people span continents and languages. Then we have cases where two people cannot come to an agreement on something as simple as which restaurant they are going to for dinner.
Why do you suppose that is? Sometimes it is easier to communicate and make concessions in the work environment for fear of losing one’s job. However, a husband and wife could have the fear of divorce. One of the differences may be in how we treat each other in a professional environment such as a corporate work place versus a social environment with friendships. Both of these environments have their challenges, though.
One of the other differences is the leadership structure of a company helps in pushing decisions “downward” while in a social structure the decisions are more universally democratic in nature. Understanding the differences in the structures may help in achieving a goal such as building a new product from inception to the marketplace.
In your life there are many times when you slip into a different role. You could have the social role of a friend, a spouse, or the president of a company, or possibly a worker in a company. In an instance you may have to slip in and out of these roles throughout the day and your lifetime. The key is to realize which role you are in and to possibly bring some of the things you’ve learned in other roles to each situation.
In the spiritual world the roles are abandoned and you simply are. You are the person that you are at a non-physical level. Everyone else is as well. There are no presidents and kings, or workers and followers. Everyone is on equal footing socially and what is referred to as professionally in the physical world. As such, each person’s essence is what you experience which has nothing to do with the roles that they played in their various physical lifetimes.
The nice thing about this is that you get to know the essence of a person without regard to any physical traits or bodily form. Have you ever noticed how your perception of one’s physical form changes over time as the relationship goes from stranger to friends or even mates? The physical form of a person is usually the first experience one has with a person they first meet, but as they get to know that person’s essence, they begin to see more and more of the non-physical part of that person and less and less of their physical body.
Now take that even further and pretend the person has no body, which can be easy to do if you close your eyes and think about the person. Experience their energy, their essence and that non-physical self of theirs. When you can begin to do those things, you realize that the roles you each play disappear and you truly can connect with each other.
Connecting with another is one of the most important spiritual desires similar to the sexual physical desire. Feeding your inner self with connections to others is what creates much joy. Especially when the connection is done beyond the physical and at a spiritual level.
Now, back to the work, social, and friendship roles. Even when you find yourself switching between these roles throughout the day, you can stay consistent and constant in the non-physical connections that you have with each person you encounter. As you change masks from boss role to spouse role when you answer a call from your husband, you can keep the spiritual mask off completely throughout the day. There is no need to try to change spiritual, or non-physical roles for anyone. Let everyone see your true inner self and experience connections to their true inner self.
That does not mean that you need to talk personal discussions to your co-workers, staff or supervisors. That is not what we’re saying. Rather really look into the eyes of these people when you communicate with them. See their joy, happiness, sadness or pain. Send them love with your thoughts as you connect with their inner self. People can feel the energy that is sent their way in both positive and negative forces. Send positive energy to everyone that you encounter. The best way to do that is for you to emanate only positive energy and light.
