The long grasses bend with the wind.  The trees, sway while their leaves rustle making a sound for the quiet wind.  The boy sits under the tree watching the storm approach.  He knows that soon it may be raining with possibly hail.  He thinks to himself that he has some time yet before he needs to head for home.

The universe provides signs all around us.  Sometimes, we see the indicators for an approaching storm.  Other times, the signals are much more subtle.  Sometimes, the signs are intended only for us, and it is up to us to interpret those signs so that we might make the necessary adjustments in our life, to let ourselves by “guided.”

There are many “lessons” that the universe provides to us.  There are also many signals provided to us that if we read them correctly, help tell us which “way” to go in this life’s journey.  Take for example, a student in college who is continually having difficulties registering for a particular set of classes.  Whereas, classes in a similar field are easily available, and are enjoyable for the student.

That could be “guidance” helping to direct the student into another field of study.  When things are “easy” that is usually a good indication that you are on the most optimal “path.”  However, when things are a continual struggle, you might look to see what it is your are supposed to learn from the struggle.

You might also look to see which way the “universal wind” is blowing.  Maybe you are being sent multiple “signals” in an attempt to guide you in a slightly different direction.  Sometimes, a storm can be on one side of a mountain, whereas the other side of the mountain is sunny.  It’s possible that you simply need to adjust your course even a small amount to find the sunshine.

Look at the events and activities that have transpired in your life over the past few days, weeks, months, and years.  If you look objectively, do you see any patterns?   Suppose you are beginning to lose some confidence in your ability to walk up and down stairs.  Maybe you have fallen a few times during the past several months.  Do you think that maybe you are being guided to use a cane?

Look at your business.  Are your customers directing you to create a slightly different product or service?  Are your employees asking for a slightly different compensation package?  Are you looking for something slightly different yourself?

Maybe you are having troubles hiring new people, or retaining the ones that you have.  What is the universe trying to “tell” you?  Maybe you are having difficulties holding down a job?   What is the message in all of that?

When you can objectively evaluate your life, you may begin to understand some of the “messages” that are being sent your way.  Some messages, like an approaching rainstorm, may be more obvious than others.

When you are finding that things are not going as “easy” as you would like, play back the “game film” and look for the “universal messages” so that you can let yourself be “guided” to where you need to be.
