When we look at our “family” as being every person who walks, or once walked this Earth, we are opening ourselves up to unity.   That means, we do not pick and choose or family, but rather accept the “family of the world” for what it is.

Yes, there are people in the world doing heinous things.   However, when we open ourselves to the possibility that we are all “family” we shift our perspective of each other.  We may have “family members” with differing beliefs.  We may have “family members” who are successful, and some that are struggling.   However, we take the “good” with the “bad” and we understand that we are “family” so we accept them.

The same is true with people who do not have an easily traceable blood line in our lineage, but have the same root genetic makeup as us – that being all connected to the non-physical source energy.  So think for a moment about everyone in the world being your brother, sister, mother, father, or cousin.  Would you be more welcoming to them?

Why is it that we treat people based on silly things such as blood line, geographic location, skin tone and the like?  The world is one and we are all connected in ways that most currently do not “see” or understand.  The world is your family and we are all in this together!

Think about the possibilities of having the world as your family.  Yes, the world may not think of you as their family, but you can begin to lead by example.  Eventually, that leadership and example will spread across the globe to reach even your most distant “relatives!”
