When you realize that you have a “team” in this lifetime, you can begin to let go of the need to “control.”  The universe is your “team.”  You are not alone on this journey, even though at times you may feel alone.

When you begin to trust in the universe, much like a coach trusts in his team, you can understand the desire to “control” is futile.  When we attempt to control every aspect of our team, we remove the capability for those people to make good decisions.   Much like a team in sports, or a team in the corporate world, your “team” supports you without you attempting to control every aspect of your life.

Think of the universe at large.  Every morning the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.  That is something that you do not worry about – it simply happens every day.   You trust and expect it to happen each day.  Now, think of other things in your life that are “taken care of” and you do not attempt to control.

Now, imagine if your “universal team” could take care of other aspects of your life.  For example, having the money for the rent when you need it.  Now, we are not saying that you quit your job, and sit at home waiting for someone to show up with a bag of money each month.  No, we are saying that you still need to do the things that you think you need to do – with integrity.  However, rather than fretting over the outcome, and attempting to control each and every detail, you can trust that your “universal team” will support you.

Much like the sun rises each morning, when you trust that you will be okay you can let go knowing that whatever happens is for your own growth.  When you understand that “good” or so-called “bad” things that may happen, may be for a higher purpose in your life, you can live trusting that you are on the right path.  You begin to understand that there are no “wrong” paths, since that cannot happen with the guidance of your “universal team.”
