In our minds, we create all sorts of “adventures.” The question is what kind of adventures do we care to create.

Every bit of stress, or overload in your life is created in your mind. Your mind is the impetus of the reality around you. When you think a thought, that thought can become a belief. That belief can then become a reality – for you.
Think about any stress that you have right now in your life. Does it do any good festering in thought about it? Yes, if there is action to take to alleviate that “stress” then by all means get busy. However, often times the “stress” is beyond our control. Often times, the stress that we create in our lives is a result of thoughts in our mind about things for which we have no control.
Living a life of peace and calm begins with a quiet mind. When we keep our minds “quiet” we can enjoy the scene before us. We can enjoy the given moment even though we may feel we are in a boat coasting down a river with a waterfall approaching. Even in those cases, we can take the time to enjoy the moment that we currently have.

Life is not about perfection. The perfection in life is when you realize that you do not choose that perfection! When you have arrived at a state of mindfulness, you will realize that everything is perfection without the need to change it!
