Unplanned Changes

Posted - Sep• 05•14

Sometimes, you put together the best laid plan, and do the work necessary to implement that plan when something outside of your “control” turns those plans up-side-down.   What do you do?

As you grow you may begin to understand that you can place your beacons, plot your course, and take the next step in that general direction, and then let go!  When we let go of outcome, we are showing our understanding of the universal flow of energy.  Sometimes, what we think we want and need are not what the universe has in mind at all.   When we trust in the universal flow of energy, we are showing our understanding that we in fact do not “know what’s best.”

So, when those great plans turn up-side-down, we can trust that we were not on the right course.  Maybe we were on the right course for a period of time, but the winds may have changed, and we may have drifted.  Sometimes, we need the “up-side-down changes” to set us back on course using the “universal winds.”

Let go of outcome, and understand that whatever the outcome may be, is the one that you need at this moment in your life.  Do the things that you think you need to do, at the time, and then disconnect from the outcome.  When you understand that everything is in “perfect order,” you begin to realize that even though this situation is not one that I have chosen, it is the one that I need!

When we think we know what’s best for ourselves, we have a tendency to become attached to that outcome.  However, a wise person knows that he does not know best, and lets go of his ties to outcome.  Do the work you think is necessary at this moment in time, and then let the universe be your guide as you traverse the rivers of this lifetime!
