Have you ever been trucking along in your day, when you suddenly get an unplanned interruption? Sometimes the interruption may be such that it completely changes your course for the day. Other times, the interruption, may be just a little “bump” in the road and you can continue forward.
No matter the type of “interruption” that occurs, you can generally expect something of the sort to impact your day. That is one of the reasons why it is important to plan your next step, and to let go of the outcome. When we get too focused on the task at hand, we can get upset or stressed when things go awry. It is important to take a deep breath, and to readjust your plans, and to move forward.
Unplanned “interruptions” are a part of our lives. When we have no adventure in our lives, we are living on auto-pilot. It’s the changes in life that can create excitement, vitality and energy. However, it is important for you to embrace the changes, rather than to avoid them. Life is like a river where the water at any one point is constantly changing. It is up to you to see to it that your “life’s water” is constantly changing to keep your life fresh and alive.
When we hit a “snag” in our daily plans, it is up to us to adjust our course and to make the best of the situation. It’s when we hang on to the pre-arranged plans that we cause unnecessary stress. Let go of the need to control, and let life! When we “let life” we are letting our life go in the directions that it needs to go, with the universal guidance that we all have. When we open up and let go, we are placing our trust in the universal source and understand that everything is in perfect order.
