“Where are we going?”
“I don’t really know.”
“Then why are you driving?”
“Because I’m enjoying the view.”

Sometimes in life, we really do not know where we are going. We can plant our beacons, plan our next step and then let go. We think we know where we are going, but the reality is that we usually have “no idea.”
When we can admit to ourselves that we really do not know where we are headed in our lives, we learn to understand that it is all in perfect order. We move in the general direction of our beacons, but we are not disturbed when we hit the detours in the road – sometimes making us reconsider those beacons.
Think back to when you were a young age, and had to make what seemed like an important decision. Maybe you were trying to decide whether or not you should play a sport, or do an activity. Maybe you were making a decision on what to do after graduation. Some of those decisions may have turned out to be “turning points” in your life, and others not so much.
Now look back on some of the decisions you didn’t really make, but maybe ended up playing an important role in your life. Maybe you should have paid a little more attention to those “little implicit decisions” and made more of a conscious effort. However, knowing that everything is in perfect order, you might be able to see how the path you ended up taking – although maybe a difficult path, helped make you the person you now are.
There are no accidents. Nothing is certain – except for the universal law that everything is in perfect order! Let yourself enjoy the view on days when you maybe do not want to pretend to have all of the answers. Let yourself be free of the pressures of society telling you how you need to behave. Let yourself trust in yourself – knowing that you can handle any situation that the universe decides you need to experience.

When we begin to understand that we are not in control, we can let go of the need to control in the first place. When you let go of the need to control, you can experience the flow of the universal energy. When you experience the flow of universal energy, you can experience life to the fullest.
