When you give something, or someone, attention, you are providing energy to that thing or person. What you think about, provides energy to the thing for which you are thinking. It need not matter if you are thinking positive or negative thoughts – the energy is sent in the direction of those thoughts. To the “end points” of your thoughts, if you will.
When you send and direct energy to an “end point” you are “energizing” that “end point.” When you energize something you give it the power to “grow” or to materialize. When something materializes, you had the impact of “creation.” For your thoughts, and attention are the precipitous for creation.
Now, we ask you, what do you think about? Do you think about your beacons and how you have “arrived” at one or more of them. The feelings that you will have when you’ve “arrived?” Or, are you thinking about the fear and doubt that continually attempts to creep into your mind? Are you doubting your career, your parenting, your coursework, your skills or talents?
When you doubt, you are sending energy to the “doubtness” of your life. We understand that doubt and fear are thoughts that may be difficult to avoid, but when you see the chain of events, you begin to understand that by giving those “end points” of your thoughts attention, you are actually creating them!
When you catch yourself moving into an area of fear or doubt you need to pay attention to it. You might objectively ask if these fears and doubts are justified. If so, you might look to what you “want” rather than what you are trying to “avoid.” Shift your thoughts to the desired “wants” and place your attention there. That way, you will create what you “want” rather than what you are trying to avoid.
Fear and doubt is natural, and sometimes justified. When you attempt to climb down a steep cliff, you may be justified in your fear. You might decide that you had better have a safely line attached to you. In this case, the fear was justified and persuaded you to change your course of action. You then put the focus on “safety” rather than focusing on “falling.”
Things that are not so simple to see, is fear that creeps into your mind regarding possibly your current financial situation. Everyone around you is getting “laid off” and you are afraid that may be your future as well. If you focus on employment, you might begin to update your resume and start probing your “career network.” Rather than fretting about your current job, you place the focus on obtaining a new job, if necessary.
When you fear something and give it the strong emotional energy that it sometimes receives, you are amplifying the creation of the “end point” associated with that fear. When you are placing your intention on the events, people and things that you want in your life, you are providing usually a weaker emotional energy, which may result in a longer time to create the desired “end point.”
Negative energy can be much stronger and more powerful than energy associated with positive things. This is because usually we feel the negative “end points” are much more plausible than the positive “end points.” Do you think you have a better chance of contracting cancer, or of obtaining your dream job? For most, they see the possibilities of the negative things in their life being more plausible than the positive things.
You need to change this. Sit quietly, and visualize all of the positive things associated with your beacons. If you have not placed any beacons, begin to think what you would be doing if the world required no money. Begin to think what you would do if you had unlimited time, talent, and no need for money, or unlimited money if that is easier to imagine.
The things that come to your mind may be the beginning for defining your beacons in life. Maybe you see yourself, sailing in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. Maybe you see yourself painting a beautiful scene. The opportunities are unlimited, for you have unlimited options in this imaginary world. Now, find one or two “end points” in this exercise to place your focus.
Send your energy and thoughts towards the accomplishments of those things. Maybe it’s to heal an ailment in your body that has been limiting you or causing you pain. In those cases, send energy to that part of your body and imagine yourself without that ailment. You may need to seek medical attention, exercise, and change your eating habits. However, when you focus and entrench yourself on one of “healing” rather than one of “pain” you are creating the desired “end point.”

Sending energy in the form of thoughts out into the world, results in the creation of the “end points” associated with those thoughts. As such, it is important to always focus your thoughts on things that you want to manifest in your life.
